Never. Ever. Go. Here. Ever. Ever. Why not? 1) The food is not good. It's just not good. 2) There are more flies than people in the restaurant. Flies everywhere. I'm not talking about "it's the beach so we leave the doors open so there's a few flies here and there" I'm talking about FLIES EVERYWHERE. I'm talking about spending the entire meal swatting flies away. I'm talking about needing one hand for eating your crummy food and one hand for swatting flies. 3) The service is shockingly bad, even for the beach. When I called the restaurant to ask if they host private parties, I was not put on hold and could hear the girl asking other people what to tell me. When she came back, she told me to call back during the week. She was not nice or even reasonable. I asked, "So you do private parties then?" because why would I call back during the week just to be told no? I should have given up there. I did call back during the week and spoke to a manager, I believe, about hosting a party there. My group was only 13 (a brunch to celebrate my sister's engagement) so they didn't really do that, but said if I showed up 30-40 minutes ahead of time they could accommodate us. Sooo.... I showed up 30-40 minutes ahead of time, told the hostess we have 13 people, are you sure you can accommodate us? She said yes, of course, we'll put the tables together now and as long as you're here by 10:30, we're good. I sent my boyfriend at 10:30 and came with the remaining 12 people around 10:40 and found out we had 3 separate tables spread out through the back of the restaurant. I was furious. When I went to speak to the hostess, I received no apology at all. I offered various different solutions for how we could move tables together to fit all 13 of us but each solution was turned down. I went back to where everyone was standing and they again offered up solutions for how we could all sit together. The hostess refused them all and finally snapped at me and said "you guys either need to sit down or leave." I reallllllllly wanted to leave but it had been hard enough to gather these 13 people all together in the first place and at this point, where else could we have gone? Finally, a couple of the guys just picked up a table and moved it even though it was one of the options the hostess had refused and a bus boy came out of nowhere to help us move another table onto the end and add some chairs. It was a tight squeeze but all 13 of us sat together. The waitress came later and offered zero apologies for the table dilemma and didn't even acknowledge it. If a manager or the waitress had just apologized for the confusion / the hostess' behavior at that point, I maybe could have been convinced this isn't the worst restaurant ever. The remainder of the brunch was fine. The waitress was fine, nice even. When we finished eating she asked what we were celebrating and brought out a cake for my sister & her fiancee. All nice things that made literally zero difference in my future spending habits, my yelp review, my recommendations to friends, etc. because everything up until then was just so so so so bad, and it was never even acknowledged. Never. Ever. Go. Here. Ever. Ever.

The food here is awesome! I was hesitant at first because I am not a fan of the small bar in the front, but the food is BOMB. We came here for lunch and the waiter was prompt and informative, but not awkward. He made great recommendations and everyone loved their meal. We will definitely come here again for the food - but we will pass the bar for other places on Main St.

We came here with high hopes and left a bit disappointed. The location is prime - no doubt. Unfortunately, that's the highlight of this place. The highlights: Location, location, location. It's directly across the street from the Seal Beach pier - so the views are incredible. It's also centrally located, so parking isn't a nightmare - and it's free if you can score a spot on Main or Ocean. Service. Our waiter (didn't get his name - dude w/ponytail) was really energetic and attentive. He kept our glasses full and made sure we weren't neglected. The cons: The food. Despite all the raves, my opinion is that the food was meh, at best. Every thing lacked salt. E V E R Y T H I N G. We had the clam chowder and fried calamari to start. Both needed salt desperately. The breading on the calamari fell off almost immediately, so little pieces of breading were in the sauces. SMH, not good. For entrees, hubs had the cajun grilled shrimp salad and I had the shrimp po'boy. The salad was very disappointing. A cajun salad has corn and black beans? Um, no. That's southwest mexican. Not sure why this salad needed these ingredients. They did not blend well. And the shrimp - S M H. 3 shrimp on a skewer? THAT'S IT??!?!? For the price, I should get at least 6. Sorry but this screams cheap and that's NOT a good look. As for the po'boy - well, it's got potential. I went to NOLA in July of last year and had po'boys twice, so the memory is fresh in my mind. The Hangout's version has some similarities (mainly the pickle slices), but it's not a fair representation of an authentic po'boy. The shrimp lacked flavor and could've used more cornmeal breading. The fries that came with it were pretty good. Not quite what I expected - especially given the reviews. Overall, 2.5 stars.

Food was good but Service was SLOW!! Tammy was our server and I was disappointed that it took 15 minutes for our drink order. No, not the drinks.. just to tell our server what we wanted. We ordered fish and chips, and it took 20 minutes for that too. I guess they went to the surf to catch our fish? The food was hot, but not piping hot (meaning, it sat at the pass). I had parked in the meter, thinking an hour and 1/2 for lunch was sufficient. When I walked back to the meter, I had 8 minutes to spare. I wasn't pleased about the service, and the food was just ok. Overall grade: C

BEST Bloody Mary ever! Amazing! Great location right on the beach and lots of shops nearby. Everything we had was delicious!

Kids menu fish and chips: fresh fish with nice batter, easy to substitute sweet potato fries for the "chips". Have crayons and coloring sheet place mat. Have water in kids cup and milk soda or juice is 1.50. Cheeseburger with pepper jack: Classic and good Fish tacos with tortilla chips: my mom had them and said they were good. The tortilla chips tasted freshly made and crisp Fish sandwich with onion rings: fish tasted fresh and sandwich put together well. The onion rings were not greasy and very tasty Thai chili calamari: the only real miss out of the food. Way too sickly sweet, no real spice at all.h

Delicious food!!! I love their daily specials, such as their Tuesday Spaghetti Night ($10.00), and their yummy hamburger!! Great location!!! A great place to hang out.( husband ,wife, boyfriend or friends on the beach) Did I mention Bloody Mary's & Martinis? Everyone is friendly!! Just a fun place to hang out!!!

Only been to Seal Beach a couple time so I found this place off of Yelp. Went by myself which wasn't uncomfortable cause they have small, two-seat tables on the perimeter by the large windows. Love the chill atmosphere right by the beach. Seems to be in the middle of the small area of shops and restaurants. Got the Cajun shrimp salad that was plentiful and very tasty. Wide selection of beer, which is a plus for me. My server was great - wish I could remember his name

This is a tough place to review because the people are so nice. However, I just cant get past all the flies. I'm talking flies everywhere. Took my family there for the first time as the location is great, right across from the beach. We were seated fast but after 20 minutes of just sitting there I had to complain to someone. After the waitresses argued about who's table it was we finally got service... service was great after that. I wasn't too bothered with swatting a few flies away, but once the food came they really started diving into our food, we couldn't keep up. The food was average, nothing spectacular but decent for the price. And as others have mentioned, their Bloody Mary's are very good. Sorry to say that no one in my family wants to go back unless they can get rid of their fly issue.

Got the fish and chips again as they were great first time. Not so much second time. Soo much batter, batter to fish ratio was off. Plus batter had a strange sweet taste. Like a waffle. Odd. Disappointed in fish n chips second time around.

I was excited to come here for girl time with my cousins for some drinks and dinner. Sadly I was disappointed with my food I ordered fish tacos when I got them they were cold and had no sour cream on them, one looked like the fish was thrown on the tortilla it was cut in half like and extra piece of someone's fish and chips and my side of fries were over cooked and hard. Our drinks (Sad to say this) but soooo strong I couldn't drink them maybe my tolerance is low now or I ordered the wrong drink ? After looking at all the pics I wish I would've ordered a burger or even the Cobb salad probably would've been happier . But I give 4 stars because I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again when I come back to Seal Beach plus can't please everyone sometimes. Also the staff was really really nice.

Just had brunch at the hangout. Great classic bloody mary's on their "Sunday Bloody Mary Sundays" special, $4, if you want any of the other kinds of Bloody Mary's the upgrade price is pretty steep. Stick with the classic, good bloody mary. Had the Egg's Benedict. Hash Browns were perfect, brown and crispy, not soggy or oily. The eggs benny were good. The Hollandaise was just right but the eggs for both of us were a bit overdone, great flavor on the plate, quick, fast, courteous service. Would definitely recommend, you may have to hunt around for parking. The Hangout is directly across from the pier so a great place to find a parking spot, eat and walk around.

What a wonderful experience we had tonight!!! I called Joey the Mgr. , told her that it was special occasion...that I was quitting a job that I have been miserable in for 8 months...Joey had a ocean view table, a reservation card, and champagne waiting for us! It was such God's favor!!! The onion rings were awesome! Burgers were awesome! Champagne was great! Here's to a great new creative path in life! It starts TODAY! Thank you Joey! Cheryl

First time to this location, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, food was great as well. I had never been to this location or ever heard of it until today. I live in long beach but I wanted to get out of my area (a little) and try something new. The location is awesome, almost every spot in this restaurant has a great view of the the beach. The staff greeted myself and roommate in a way that was professional but at the same time made me feel comfortable at a place that I have never been to. The food was not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I started with a cup of clam chowder. This clam chowder was probably the best I have had in a while especially in this area. I was literally blow away by the tastiness of my soup. I also ordered the fish and chips, and once again I was blown away by the quality and flavors of this dish. I eat a lot of fish and I can always tell what fish is quality and fresh. This was perfect in every way. The chef really know what he/she is doing back there. I recommend this place to anyone in the area. Can't wait to come back and try something different.

Tasty food, great drinks, right at the end of Main St. in Seal Beach. Love the grilled fish tacos! You can sit and look out the big windows at the ocean and pier, or sit at the bar and watch a game. Great spot to Hangout with friends.

Been here a lot this past year, the menu is very good and the service is awesome. We just had the Sunday special, Ribs, buy one diner and get the second rib diner free, can't beat it! The meat was falling off the bone! I am going to have to check out theirs other specials! The view is amaZing, the restaurant is the beginning of the pier in Seal Beach you will have a great view while eating.'

I loved this place. I wasn't sure what to expect but the food was great. Everything we ordered was well seasoned and had lots of flavor. We tried the clams, the shrimp boil, seared mahi and the prime rib special. People who complain about the prices are just cheap. The portions are enough for two meals. My only suggestion would be to serve the clams and shrimp boil with toasted baguette or other bread to soak up the delicious broth! Service was okay, the waitress was offering boxes while we were still eating and dropped off the check when my grandpa wasn't finished eating. A server should know it's not decent to drop the check when guests are still enjoying their meal.

Always fresh and delicious rich food. I have yet to complain about something here. lol Family owned business which I adore cos they are the sweetest people (down to earth too). Brought my brother here, since coming from Germany..and I found that he must have loved it too cos he compared everything prior to the food in Germany (he lived there for several years) LOL...He just kept saying "wow....wow" lol plus the ambiance is friendly and calm and right in the view of the beach. On occasion they have live music too :) ...J'adore!

Decent food.....not amazing but definitely would like to try their other food choices! We got the meatloaf and the po' boy =) The onion rings were quite tasty though. Think it was the beer batter that sold it to me. The service was great and quite attentive. Despite being busy our server made sure we have everything we needed. Heck she even took pics of our group when asked =) Make sure you bring your appetite, the food portions are large enough to feed a small tribe hah.

Choose from three Bloody Mary recipes. Sit and breakfast, brunch, lunch, dine across from the Seal Beach pier. Watch NFL Sunday football at the bar. Stumble in hungover if you live nearby. All good. Decent beer selection.

This is the perfect breakfast place, with an outstanding selection. I was especially excited about the breakfast tacos, since a lot of places in California don't have that. The mimosas and bloody Marys on Sundays are a great deal and also delicious. The waitress accidentally got my order wrong, but after sending it back the correct order came out within a few minutes, and they were extremely kind about the whole thing. I definitely recommend this place for anyone, and the view of the ocean is spectacular.

The food was good. My cousin had ordered fish and chips which was okay but good be better, it was too oily. I had ordered shrimp and chips which was good better than my cousins food. Overall the staff was very friends food and drinks came out fast. But the restaurant was just too small and hot! That place is just way to small to drink and chill everything is too close to you. I don't want to be eating my food right next to some stranger. I need personal space! Please expand or rearrange the seating area. Other than that it's a great place to eat with okay food.

We stopped by while in town on vacation and it was everything you want a spot on the beach to be. The patio is amazing with great views and a fun vibe. The food was solid and a decent beer selection. I would 100% come back.

The food here is horrible. I had the salmon sliders and they were mediocre. The fries, obviously frozen. My girlfriend had the BLAT wrap or whatever it was called, it wasn't so bad. It had a very subtle taste. The clams sucked, they lacked flavor and were really.... bleh. The good thing is our server was nice. Despite the fact that she didn't hear one of our orders and the kitchen was closing, she still had our entree made. Maybe this place is good for just having a drink, because it's definitely not a good place to eat.

This the the perfect place to wander into during a day at the beach in Seal Beach. We had the fried fish tacos and shrimp tacos w a few beers. The fish was fresh and the batter they used for the fish was light and crispy, not greasy at all. The view (right on the beach) and the service were also a plus. We will be back.

I had the worst experience yesterday... My husband's Bloody Mary tasted like pure juice, kids' bacon looked warmed over--but they ate their pancakes-- my fish tacos (they serve bfast and lunch at same time) were bland and tortillas so hard, but meant to be soft... And who actually uses salsa from a jar? I'm only giving it two stars because the craft beer was good.. And of course, the view... But many locals say this is an overrated place... I didn't want to agree... But I don't think we will go back:(

This was my first time at The Hangout, but I will be coming all the time. We love it! Our bartender Davis was great, we will try to catch him...and not the girls that replace him. (Ours was not so fun, and vocal about her disdain for Adelle...and possibly over- weight people who need to eat salad in general). But we loved Davis and the owner/manager. Red Trolley on tap and great beer choices make a terrific happy hour stop. Also, they donate to charity when you purchase wine. NICE! The shrimp boil...oh my god. Order it and die happy. Not the old "toss it on the table" thing...white wine broth makes you want to sop up every drop with your perfectly delectable hush puppies! They are serious about fresh, organic, antibiotic free, free-range ingredients. These guys mean wholesome business, and it is delicious. I love this place. I love the men who work here, and the man who runs it. I used a 10% check in discount from yelp...thank you! That was a nice check-in offer. 10% of your entire bill. Hurry to The Hangout and redeem yours. IMPORTANT! Keep Reading.... Now get this straight: this is NOT the former restaurant. I liked that place too, but let's change with the times, people. The location, the food, the menu of fresh, delicious seafood....well, it brings us current. To be honest, that old spot was a bit dirty feeling. This is NOT the old spot changing their menu. This is a new, fresh menu, new owners, and a new restaurant. So don't compare the two. That is not fair to the new owner who is trying to sincerely make this a wonderful establishment. Go ahead and keep fond memories of that old place. But get with the program. The new place is much better! I love it! I read the earliest reviews of The Hangout, written when they had just opened the doors. How brutal not to allow a new place time to work out kinks. I would by-pass those early reviews altogether.

i usually go the "The Hangout Too" in Huntington Beach. After Speaking with the owner, Aaron, I decided to visit the flagship. This place definitely has the View, as it sits directly across the street from the pier, and is all windows! The bar tender and servers are all lovely ladies, which is always a benefit to having a cocktail. The liquid refreshment accommodate the standard drinks as well as the specialty cocktails including 12 and 18 year jameson. Next time i visit I will give the food menu a whirl and report back.

We were meeting a friend out in Seal Beach and this was the spot that was suggested. We went on a Sunday so there was a bit of a crowd but we only waited about 15 minutes. It takes a bit to find parking because they are all 1 hour or 2 parking on the street so keep an eye on time. Even throughout the surrounding neighborhoods it is still 1 or 2 hours weekends included. There is a bar at the front and seating inside. You are right across from the sand so it's a nice view. They have daily specials for meals and drinks as well. No substitutions on the specials but you don't really need to since they pair them well with fries or sides. For only $10 you can get a whole meal of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and a saide of kale. They also have delicious waffles and fried chicken which come in almost chicken strips type form but are homemade. They have generous portions and the menu has breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner and there is enough sweet and savory choices. -Keep an eye on parking since street is 1 and 2 hour only available -Accepts credit cards -Someimets a wait on weekends -Full bar inside -lots of cute shops to walk around while you are waiting -Family friendly and casual vibe

Friday night and my man wanted to treat me to a special dinner, tried The Hangout Seal Beach as we have seen it on the under cover restaurant/bar show - $15.95 for two pieces of fish and crappy fries and the blonde waitress (wish I knew her name) questioned me about tarter sauce like what, needless to say I walked out and left the man their eating his $18.95 steak that came with a side of vegys sorry bitchy waitresses

Great place...attentive staff. The only disappointment I had was that the hot calamari was described as covered in Habanero sauce and to me it tasted like just regular wing sauce to me. I think it was also overkill. Anytime you use so much sauce that the taste of the food itself is lost to me is a sin. But Hubby loved the calamari. The mussels in spicy tomato sauce was wonderful. The prawns and chips were alright.
If you love burgers I would highly recommend coming here trying to pulled pork cheeseburger... Everything was handmade from the burger to cut fries... The burger was so big needed to walk if off to the end of the Seal Beach Pier... The hangout is directly across the street from the pier on the corner of Main Street! Only disappointment was I wanted Newcastle they don't carry it on tap or in bottles but they had a great selection of craft beers... (End up having crown royal to enjoy) Looking forward to my next burger at the Hangout!

Been here a couple times--had burgers both times...very good! Our friendly server came by often to keep ice teas filled. Nice, casual vibe here...smiling faces and relaxed, good times all around. A great place by the shore to get a meal and decompress. Not expensive either! We'll be back soon...

2.5 We stopped here for a quick drink and snack before heading to the beach. We got a table right away but that's where the green light stopped. We had extremely slow service for the rest of our visit which was really disappointing considering we ordered just two drinks and an order of chips & salsa! Our waitress was pulling double duty as bartender and waitress (maybe others were too, not sure...). Anyway, we enjoyed our drinks (pineapple rum lemonade and raspberry mint sangria) once they finally got delivered to us. The chips & salsa were definitely not worth the wait and there should never really be a long wait for chips to begin with. Our water was also never refilled and we resorted to busting out our own water bottles to drink from. Not good. You can't beat the location - The Hangout sits right across from Seal Beach with premo beach-viewing and people watching along Main Street. If you're okay with a questionable wait for your food and drinks, and you want something casual and close to Seal Beach, then go for it.

The family and I were visiting the area for my cousin's wedding at Disneyland. One of our cousins had already been in the area and had eaten at the Hangout the day before. They highly suggested the shrimp and grits or the fish tacos. We got there around lunch time or so, and were greeted by a long line that would supposedly take 40 mins. We were a party of 8, so due to their mismanagement, SEVERAL people went ahead of us because their brainiac host couldn't figure out that they could put two tables together instead of waiting for one large table that wouldn't leave... wow! What an idea. So, after waiting much longer than we should have (at least an hour) we were seated. I thought their bloody mary drink menu was cute and clever with about eight different options. I ordered the fried fish taco with the optional third taco with grilled fish. I was thoroughly disappointed, especially since they were highly recommended. The fish was dry and very very bland. The sauce they had with it didn't help and their pico de gallo wasn't really pico de gallo, just chopped up tomato. Chips and salsa came with, but the salsa wasn't worth it, so those went to waste. I ended up not even eating two of the three tacos. I tried my dad's burger that had meat from some special cow and it was over cooked and underwhelming. I also got to try my brother's spicy fried squid that was recommended and all it was was fried squid with Frank's hot sauce poured all over it. I like Frank's hot sauce, but it is a bit much and salty when in excess... Not good. This place is way over-rated based on the other reviews. I will say they have a prime location and the server we had was good. Besides that, I would NOT recommend eating here. There are far better places a few blocks in. Too bad this place is not taking advantage of the prime real estate with a prime chef and menu.

This place is packed all the time...line out the door. It really isn't anything special. It's got tourists and locals and the food is run of the mill. The server was attentive and made recommendations but the Mac and cheese was dry and not cheesey...the steamed mussels and clams was bland and the drinks were watery. Regardless of location, I won't return.

Great service wonderdul ocean view and people watching with the girls and my man such good food and great cocktails always busy but worth the wait nothing beats breakfast on Main St and a walk on the beach after. Ride the harley here parking is easier.. Best waitress and bartenders

Can't get enough of this joint! Went again yesterday and had the shrimp and chips. The shrimp was HUGE and cooked perfectly. Instead of the regular "chips" I opted for the garlic parmesan fries. Best decision I've ever made in my entire life. Okay, maybe not the best or most important decision, but I've got to say that those were the best garlic parm. fries I've EVER had. Brushed my teeth twice after having eaten them and STILL woke up the next morning with garlic breath, which means optimal garlic level reached, subject is pleased. Also worth mentioning, I'm HOOKED on the Indian Wells Whiskey Barrel Brew. It's an amber ale that is INCREDIBLY smooth. 12% ABV, by the way, so be warned! I was a bit loopy after two. :P

The location is great! If you are looking for a great mix of atmosphere and food, this the place. I was not impressed with the food and the "microwave" didn't nuke the mashed potatoes or the Mac and Cheese all the way. The NY strip steak my partner ordered was fatty and not high quality. I would not recommend to my friends or family.

Stopped here for an early dinner on Friday (around 5PM) Got seated right away at a window directly across the street from the beach. It was a gorgeous afternoon with a cool breeze. Our waitress was really attentive and sweet. They have a week day happy hour and we were early enough to still catch it. We started with the sliders from the Happy Hour menu (choose 2 for $5) - my pulled pork was delicious and my husband got the cheeseburger - I didn't taste it because he wouldn't let me... so I'm assuming that was a good sign. I also ordered a mojito and it was strong! (but it wasn't part of the happy hour deal). We both got grilled cheese sandwiches - but these are NOT your mother's grilled cheese: mine came with fried green tomatoes, basil and mozarella and cheddar cheese. My husband had a bacon-mac-and-cheese grilled cheese! Everything was incredible! Will definitely return!

Nice place for breakfast after a beach walk on a lazy Monday morning. Daughter home from college and had to see the beach. Friendly and efficicient service, no waiting, table by window so we could people watch. Split the Souther omelet (ham and cheese) and a side of cheesey grits. The grits were so light and fluffy and full of cheese and extra cheese on top. Omelet good though nothing special, lots of ham. Hashbrowns thin and crispy the way we like them.

Went here for lunch while working on location. it was awesome. Great service, fun environment (seemed like the waiter knew almost everyone there, even showing some of the older ladies photos of his niece). The food was also on point. We got a jalapeño burger (delish), lobster mac n cheese (must try..... I asked for siracha on the side!), mussels in garlic lemon sauce (sister loved it and she's a mussel snob), and habanero calamari (well made but way too spicy and soggy, I shoulda gotten the sauce on the side). But "don't return the calamari because it's too spicy"... As it warns on the menu. So if you're the kind of spicy eater that likes to have your mouth on fire, go for it! Overall, I loved this restaurant and loved the area.

The food was excellent and the pretty waitress was one of the best ever. I also liked the ambiance and the table and booth seats, they were well made. There were three of us and we all loved our food. I would like to come back and try some other items. I am glad we came here.

A near perfect cheeseburger. Sounds like something you can hardly screw up-but we all know a cheeseburger isn't as easy as it sounds. Came here tonight after having a kids birthday party. My wife and I didn't want to cook. We're locals in town, but rarely come here. It used to be something else years ago, and I guess that kept us away. I'd love to have another one of those burgers!

CHEESY GRITS. GET THE CHEESY GRITS. Everyone who works here seems super happy, like happy with their lives which made me jealous. I wanna work by the beach and be that happy all the time. I guess I could give it all up in smog shyt LA and just move down the road 45 minutes. Its as close to the beach as you can get without actually being on the sand. I think my only complaint is the decor - it just seems so generic inside like a dennys or an ihop when it could be really cool and cute beach hangout.

I went here on Thursday night for a rehearsal dinner; it's a very casual environment but the food is amazing and we got enough food for about 25 people. The ribs just fall off the bone which is rare these days. There were pork sliders which were delicious, the coleslaw was refreshing, and the mac & cheese was to die for... I love spiral pasta and a lot of creaminess...can't forget the breadcrumbs on top! We even had everything as leftovers the next day and I was just as excited to eat it then. There is street parking and a wonderful view of the ocean across the street!

We came into the hangout today sweaty, dusty, and tired. Every person in our party was in dire need of food, STAT! And The Hangout delivered, yes sir they did. Kind of a beach-bum bungalow feel inside, which was cool. Our server was Cody and he greeted us right away, grabbing our drinks. We had just hiked eight and a half miles so nobody felt like an alcoholic beverage, and he didn't try to push us. Super chill. There was something here for everyone, my boyfriend's dad got the fish tacos he wanted and his mom got her BLT. They were unfortunately out of the pulled pork so sliders were out, but my boyfriend and I both got the jalapeño cheeseburger which was fantastic! I was really pleased with how quickly our food came out. The fries were super fresh and had a great flavor as well, and the portion wasn't ridiculous like some places. Perfectly sized meal. The only downside was that you can't get mac-n-cheese as a side, but that probably means they have some epic mac-n-cheese. That aside, we inhaled everything. After we had eaten and all felt human again, we realized we all had dust halfway up our legs and marveled that the hostess even seated us. She hadn't even raised an eyebrow, and neither had our server. Nice. :) Overall, a really great spot for food to suit a variety of tastes and dietary needs, and an atmosphere that matches the name.

I'm giving 5 stars for their Friday night prime rib in particular. The rest of the food is also fantastic! The only one I didn't love was the lobster bisque. The tacos, salads, chowder, etc. has been exceptional!

Awesome place! Came here for appetizers and drinks. The Buffalo shrimp is awesome! It's a cool spot across the street from the pier. The only reason why I wouldn't give this spot a 5 star is because the parking was horrible. We drove around 20 min hunting for parking. It's easier to just pay for parking across the street at the beach. Will def be back sometime this summer.

So I came in and give this place a shot. Great view of the beach. So I got the fries chicken and waffle. The chicken. Was dry and under season. I wouldn't order it again. 2 stars only because of the view.

Great view since it is located on the coner of the seal beach pier. This place can be packed during weekends. This place has great drinks and food for everyone. The service is great and friendly. Food quality is pretty great and There are enough kinds of drinks to make everyone happpy. Can be bit loud but its possible to have a normal conversation. Price matches well its quality and service. Make sure you try here when you come to seal beach!

The wife and I were hungry on a Sunday morning and wanted some bloody marys and a nice drive through Long Beach. My wife ordered Huevos Rancheros and although I don't remember what I had my food was good but I loved her Huevos Rancheros. The bloody marys were great and I liked the variety that they offered (I like the spicy ones). Great quiet little spot on a Sunday morning overlooking the pier and beach.

Great atmosphere. Had the blackened Mahi and absolutely loved it. My girlfriend had the prime rib special. 5 stars for the food and friendly staff. We will be coming back to explore the rest of the menu.

A good place, with good food, strong drinks, and good service. Will definitely come back. The grilled cheese sandwiches are excellent. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is that they can't do more than 3 separate checks per table. If this is not an issue for you, consider it a 5 star review.

Late lunch with the wifey on a beautiful 80 degree January day. The fried calamari were fresh and light (not too heavily battered). My clams and mussels were good. I like the lobster bisque soup at first but then it got a little too rich by the end if the meal. I think I'd opt for the spicy tomato next time. My wife liked her veggie burger. The Hangout is directly across from the pier too, so it made for a nice post meal stroll.

I can't believe no one has commented on there New York steak!! It would not usually be the cut of beef I would normally order. The best New York Steak I've ever had! Yumm!:) AND you cannot beat the price!

I give them one star cause u can't give them less!!! I use to live in seal beach, so when I came back to visit I decided to take my hubby out to grab something good to eat and since I've been here before I knew they had good food!!! That's not the problem! It was 9:00 on a Saturday night the place was packed it took them 20 mins to even acknowledge us and when they did they said the kitchen was closed. As we walked out we saw 2 orders come out the kitchen. Now maybe they have secret hours but I felt as if they were being racist!!! That's not ok that's not fair!!! I would never go there again. Just taking the child to the park to play when I'm n town and I see this place it makes me sick to my stomach. It's 2015 come on really.

Beautiful! This restaurant is surrounded by Windows so all you mostly see is, Beach, Beach and Beach. That was the highlight of the Restaurant. That and this amazing sauce that they had on top of their Fish Tacos.. Holy Cow, it was super yummy but of course a 'Secret Recipe'. However, despite the gorgeous view and the Yummy Lunch Menu, it was practically RARE to get a hold of our waitress, so rare, that I can't even remember her name and I'm pretty good with names.

Don't go for the food. We did. What a mistake. The staff was on the average side of friendly. The menu looked good. We ordered 3 kid's meals (2 mac & cheese, and 1 fish & chips), fried calamari, a bowl of clam chowder, and fried fish tacos. When the waitress brought the calamari, she spilled some of them on my wife and on the table. She apologized. No problem - we don't complain about accidents. The calamari had the correct texture - light and crispy on the outside and tender/chewy on the inside. The flavor was lacking. Totally bland. Fortunately, they did have lemon wedges, cocktail sauce, and an aioli sauce. The nicest touch was the inclusion of deep fried lemon slices. I'd never tried that or even heard of that, it was the only flavorful thing on the plate. The clam chowder tasted like it was freshly emptied into a pan (or possibly microwave) right from the can. Blech. I apologize if someone at The Hangout actually attempted to make it from scratch...but it truly tasted like canned soup. Very disappointing, lackluster, and also quite bland. The fish tacos, much like the calamari, had the correct texture but almost zero flavor. It truly took quite a bit of hot sauce and salsa to make it appetizing to my taste buds. The kid's mac & cheese was consistent with the other items - bland. The good point? The pasta was chewy (again, also consistent with the other items - great texture, just lacking flavor). The fish & chips tasted the best out of everything. The fries were average. The fish had the perfect texture. The so-called tartar sauce was...drum-roll please...BLAND. What??!!?? Shocker!! Yes ladies and gentlemen, The Hangout delivers great texture consistently with all of their plates, but needs something to zest up things in the flavor department. Oh- I forgot to mention: The waitress brought us a complimentary plate of calamari since she spilled some the first time around. That was very sweet of her. It was sad that on the inside I felt like refusing it since it lacked any taste appeal.

SEAL BEACH, CA: Everything is better with a a little sunshine and an ocean breeze, well except snowmen, but almost everything else can be dramatically improved with a little beach. The Hang Out is a great place to, you know, hang the eff out. forget your troubles, escape the law, grow a mustache or compare said mustache with those of other patrons, and enjoy a freakin' Bloody Mary! They've got 5 on the menu, the Classic, the Spicy, the DIRTY, and the Bakon Bloody Mary, but for shear glory we went all out and got the Elit Surf n' Turf Bloody Mar. Consisting of Stoli Elit vodka and their house mix, it has a BACON salt rim, and is garnished with a strip of, is that what I think it is-why yes it's, BACON (the turf) and 2 jumbo tiger shrimp (the SURF). at only 15 clams, we felt like we were stealing from them. This drink is awesome. Check out more at bloodyamerica.com

Came here looking for Michelada and a great view, lucky for me I got both and great food!!! So delicious! Normally would go to schooners, but since it's Sunday, they told me the wait was an hour, so we decided to drive a few blocks down. You won't be disappointed, the portions are great for the price, it's cheaper than schooners and the food is way better. I had the southern fried chicken which I think was about $12- and it was juicy and perfect. My boyfriend had the salmon omelette, which I think was $10-, just melts in your mouth. The host, server, and bartender were all so pleasant. And bonus, it's a full bar, the wait for 25 minutes and we were able to get drinks at the bar while we waited. And it's right across the street from the beach, so the view and breeze was the cherry on top! PS one of the best Michelada I've bee had! Will definitely be coming back!

The view wasn't as great as I was hoping the reviews said it would be and the food was just ok. However the surrounding village was a nice walkabout. Close to the pier so that made the long wait not as bad. The service was pretty cool. Small community lacked diversity so that was interesting.

Came here a few times. The pros: good service and at times lively atmosphere. Breakfast: pro: Bloody Marys - you will find delicious ones here. Cons: the breakfast burrito is a no-no, ESPECIALLY with Nick's down the road. We ordered steak and eggs sunny side up but i specified no runny egg white on top, was brought with raw egg white and after i sent it back, it was still undercooked. Eggs Benedict - do yourself a favor and go to Crema Cafe, it's also down the road and it simply does not compare. In conclusion, come here for the wonderful view, Bloody Marys and the atmosphere. Don't come here for the food.

pro: great view and service, good. drinks Con : not the best food. Had breakfast here and the sunny side up eggs were gooey even after sending them back, hash browns not seasoned, the breakfast burrito tasteless and the flour tortilla rancid. A bit pricey. It has a great atmosphere though

Ok, so my plea for the return of oso bucco kinda died here in Yelp BUT being open to tasty options I took Cody's advice to give their Friday night prime rib special a try. AWESOME ADVICE, CODY :) The end cut Rachel picked out for me was OFF THE HOOK!!! My date had meat envy when he realized mine was BIGGER... LOL!!! Great pairing with fresh veggie medley of zucchini, broccoli & carrots. Roasted red potatoes were tasty but preferred the mashed potatoes for a side. With the One Hope Merlot pairing, it's proceeds going towards AIDS research... I'll most DEFINITELY be back!!! Oh & special shout out to Sam for seating us next to the window so that we could enjoy a BEAUTIFUL Seal Beach pier sunset.... WOOO HOOOOOOO!!!

Amazing.,food is awesome!!! The steak was great although I didn't find the mashed potatoes amazing just good. The LOBSTER BISQUE WAS AWESOME!!!! While I was observing a very busy restaurant what bothered me personally was all the hair not up or back as it should be when serving food! I even noticed a manager standing and kept pulling her hair down towards the floor..a female habit but wrong, keep it away from my soup! Next day we showed up for an early breakfast and we were the first ones there! Out of OJ and hollandaise wasn't ready but still great food here...they didnt even have bagels so the salmon came with wheat toast and was still good! BLOODY MARY A few days later we had prime rib and fish n chips which was better than halibut fish n chips also amazing!! I cannot wait to go back but ladies pull your hair back tight!!!

This restaurant and bar is really jumping during a Friday happy hour!! Hubby and I went here for lunch and loved the food and atmosphere so much we thought we would try the drink of the week during happy hour. Our meal consisted of salmon sliders (awesome) and pulled pork sliders (very good) The slaw served on the pork was requested as a side by my Hubby, it had very little dressing so was dry. On the other hand, the slaw on my salmon had much more flavor than his did and went very well with the salmon. Our meals were served with fries which were cooked just the way we like them - crunchy on the outside and not burnt to do so. :) The drink of the week was a Gin-erella. Not being one who likes gin, I opted to have a vodka-rella instead. This drink, with vodka, tasted mostly of cucumber, rather than any of the other ingredients: strawberry, lime, sweet vermouth and club soda. I probably should have left it alone and ordered something else. I wanted to go back for a pot of mussels for dinner but Hubby had other plans. :( Will be coming back to this restaurant the next time we're in Seal Beach, CA soaking up some sun and leaving the snow at home. :)

Came here for Mother's Day on a busy Sunday afternoon. All I have to say is I am now a regular. The food was phenomenal. The location is prime. The service was great. The pricing equals the quality and quantity of food. I ordered the fish and chips. Mom ordered the brisket. Wow...just wow. The fish was fresh and moist. The batter was a prefect match. The brisket tasted like it was cooked for hours at home and was a good hefty portion. I opted for a side salad instead of the cold slaw. Definitely coming back for more.

Hanging out at the Hangout on a busy Sunday. Had a great breakfast and remembered that on our last check in on Yelp we forgot to use our coupon. Waitress wasn't too nice- "we don't do that anymore". I asked her to check because it doesn't have an expire and it says "save for another time" and this is my "other time! No go. "We don't do that anymore. We don't take them"....but, but..."no!" I hate no. And I hate when such small things like 10% off a 40+ bill is an issue. And I really hated the way she dismissed us. It's your coupon and it said to save for later. Why risk losing customers like that? At least be nice about it. Lots of other great places to eat. No worries.

I don't go to Seal Beach very often but I think that's going to change. Met my friend here for brunch one beautiful Sunday morning. Our server was super friendly and they just so happened to have a deal on Bloody Mary's. I paired that with the Hangout Rancheros (basically huevos rancheros) and was not disappointed! Perfect amount of each ingredient and you can't beat fresh avocado on top. Prices are what you expect for a brunch ($10-$15ish) but the portion sizes are great. The view is amazing too, right on PCH with a view of the pier and the beach. It's nice they keep it very open and airy too. If you're looking for brunch, a quick drink (they have a bar too), a place to sit and admire the view with some grub...I definitely recommend the aptly named Hangout.

I would say maybe 2.5 stars. My Son went totally apeshit over his breakfast burger. Couldn't stop talking about it. My husband ordered the huevos rancheros and while he enjoyed them, they were a bit gringofied. No ranchero sauce to be seen. Just a little bit of salsa. My daughter got some veggie omelette, that was just ok. Maybe I am just a picky shit, but I was less than happy with my breakfast. First of all, the server f'd up my order, and brought me steak bene, when I clearly ordered ham bene. I sent that back, but you could totally tell that the ditzy server wanted me to just keep it, and STFU. No way! When my ham bene arrived, it was a disappointment. Thin lunch meat type of ham, and not much of that, and very bland obviously canned or mix hollandaise sauce. Hash browns were nice and crisp. They offer a 10% yelp check in discount, but that seems to have been left off our bill. I am going to chalk it up to the ditzy server. Very cute little girl, but I would rather be served by Brunhilda and get good service.

We're a family from colorado, found this place by coincidence, and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Awesome location, with the pier and beach views. Food was above average, and my bloody Mary rocked this world. But the service was exceptional! We went to the beach after and our server personally brought our box that we left at the table!! Overall I give this place a 5/5!

I've been here 4 times now. I love the ambiance, the staff is always friendly and on point. There's a great view of the ocean :) The server went out of his way to describe the ounce proportions. He's super cool. They also have a variety of beer here. I love octoberfest!!!

I really didn't have high hopes for a place named "The Hangout." Even after scoring primo street parking (the lot wasn't worth our while), and entering the not so busy bar/resto, I wasn't sure about the decision. But I was proven wrong almost immediately. We sat at a booth and had wines to start. My Riesling was just okay, claimed to be sweet but wasn't that sweet. For food, the calamari was a huge hit. I so love calamari- this dish was very tasty. We each got burgers: mine was the cheeseburger but on a turkey patty. My friend chose the beef version. We really enjoyed our meals. You can't beat the views and prices. Definitely hang out here!

The food here is very good. I throughly enjoy the smoked salmon omelette, it was filled with flavor! I have also had the grilled fish tacos. I wasn't a fan of the chips that they came with, but the actual fish tacos were great! I highly recommend this place if you are in Seal Beach!

Great atmosphere, great view, great service. We came here for lunch, great selection of bar food and grill type foods. I had a Cobb salad with chicken and shrimp and it was very fresh and tasty. I would surely go back!

Delicious! My aunt an I got the grilled fish tacos. I ordered a 3rd taco because I thought it wouldn't be enough. They are huge deliciously fresh fish tacos. We started with the calamari which came out in an amount more than you ever see. They were plump and crispy but not overdone. The clam appetizer is delicious too! Overall I think this is a prime example of a 5 star "for what it is". It's not fancy, and it's not trying to be. Like the name implies; hangout is just that. Good, local, neighborhood style restaurant.

After walking around Seal Beach we decided to have a snack & a drink. The Hangout sits on the corner across the street from the pier/beach so location is great and we thought we smelled French fries so we went in. The restaurant has a cozy bar in front and a lovely dining room that looks out to the picturesque view beyond. Sunday is BBQ night so we all ended up with yummy baby back ribs since it was buy one plate get the second free! The portion was generous, ribs, fries and cole slaw. Each item was delicious too! The ribs had sauce on them that wasn't too sweet or sticky but really good. The fries were perfectly cooked and the slaw wasn't just for show-it was tasty. I do have to mention that my husband & I shared the Blue cheese bacon fries as an appetizer, very yummy! So we were able to sub a salad for fries on the rib plate. Also had the other Sunday special, Bloody Mary. It was a classic version, tasted like good tomato juice garnished with celery, green olives & lime. Very good. I believe we will go back to The Hangout when we're in Seal Beach!

Update....went in last Friday night, had we had fish and chips and a long island tea. Service was great as was the food and drink. Just as I'd hoped. I believe we were waited on by the owner! Wanted to say hey but he was busy behind the bar when we had to leave. Good experience. Going back, you should too!

I've only been here once for breakfast so far but it was pretty good. Much better than Kinda Lahaina that it replaced. Service was pretty good but there was room for improvement. Menu was small but interesting and the view is great.

The Hangout is really hit and miss. My family meets here for breakfast about once a month. The shrimp and grits are great and so are the pancakes. However, the biscuits are extremely dry and nearly indelible. Same goes for the eggs Benedict.

I'm a fan- the hush puppies alone are worth going in on a daily basis. The menu is great (deviled eggs!) and my bloody mary with jalapeño vodka was fantastic. The prices are reasonable, the staff is lovely, and you couldn't find a better location for people watching.

Great service and food; EXCELLENT staff. They all work really well together and actually seem like they want to be at work. Definitely a great place to hangout, amazing beach cocktails (the jalapeno margarita is my favorite) and the calamari is the best! Will be back for sure! Love it! I definitely give the hangout five stars, You really can't beat the view they have a perfect location. I recommend everyone giving it a try; being a new restaurant I am sure they took a week or so to get on their feet but are definitely up and running and doing a fantastic job. Congrats to the new owners!

The Hangout is an awesome restaurant with a fun, innovative menu! The owner, Reese, is super friendly & has hired a great staff. Melissa was our server & Steven helped out! They were completely accommodating & even gave us the ingredients for their amazing veggie burger. All ingredients are organic & everything is prepared fresh & made to order. The sweet potato fries are delicious as well as the edamame falafel! We came back and had the crab cake salad! I love this place & it has a great view of the sunset (right across from the pier)!

Our first time at the Hangout was disappointing. Had the Calamari to start. It was cooked well but had no flavor. Ordered the Angus burger which lacked any seasoning. The Caesar salad was overdressed with an unimpressive Caesar dressing. There were too many flies and the floors were dirty. Will not be going back.

so my best friend, my goddaughter, my niece and myself had made plans for disneyland and my bestie for the longest has wanted to try the surf and turf bloody mary from the Hangout after seeing it on an episode of mystery diners on foodnetwork. along with DL, we decided to meet up with an old classmate who happened to live not far from Seal Beach. so we were set. DUN DUH DUN- I get sick the day of our get together and not wanting to mess up our plans I suck it up and put on a smile. felt like i was in OB down here in San Diego. we found our friend already seated and we clicked like no time lost. our friend and boyfriend had ordered onion rings already and they came to the table and looked amazing, but remember kiddies, i am not feeling fabulous and the fresh fried smell makes my tummy not be awesome. so i ask the waitress (and i feel bad i did not catch her name otherwise i would so name drop right here) what soup specials they had and of all days, wednesday is the day no soup special is available. so i was set on enjoying my ice water when she said she would talk to the chef and see if he could whip something up. i told her not to trouble the chef and she would not take no for an answer. everyone else had ordered some pretty awesome looking sliders, po boys, meatloaves, mac n cheese balls and here i am being the lame asking for soup. my soup gets to me before everyone else's feasts and this soup is like no other. it was a pumped up minestrone sans beans, big green veggies and a tomato-y broth that made me begin to feel better already. they even included a nice warm dinner roll to sop up the broth with. i can't wait to come back to try things that are actually on the menu! thank you waitress lady and chef!

stopped in this afternoon (tuesday) to meet a buddy that flew in from MSP.... he researched yelp earlier in the week and advised meeting here based on previous reviews....happy hour prices all evening long, great burger, and as Oscar mentioned in previous post, a very hot bartender with a great personality (Allyson). don't get to Seal Beach often, but will definitely stop at the hangout next time on this side of town.

Simply amazing, there is no place around here that can possibly compete with the menu, view and service if you want something casual but creatively good. I've eaten there three times, twice for breakfast and once for lunch. I'm already dreading what will happen when more folks hear about this, but hey Yelp(ers) share the goods. Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and REAL hollandaise sauce, fabulicious! Omelets made the rolled way, very flavorful and fluffy. Blue cheese burger melted perfectly with crisp bacon, "very good" said my hard to please hubby when it comes to burgers. Excellent fries. Salmon sliders, devised eggs, Mac and cheese, rootbeer floats...loads more to try. Can't wait to check out their dinner menu. At last, a place with an ocean view without the mediocre food, crazy-high prices and indifferent or snobby waiters. The Hang Out is a genuine good food, fresh ingredients venue that one might find in the Bay Area but with a So Cal vibe that doesn't try to be too fancy or worked-at relaxed. Can't wait to go back again and again.

My family and I decided to eat lunch at this restaurant after visiting the pier. The service was excellent, being seated right away with very friendly faces. We decided to order the Mac n Cheese balls with bacon inside, it was delicious and played well. Are food came out at decent speed, and their were workers always coming by to make sure we were doing okay. Once our food came out it was instantly eating time. The seafood fresh, and everything homemade. A excellent place to eat!

I've been here 3 or 4 times and gotten bad service each time. I really WANT to like it. Great location and menu. But the service is awful. Today we sat and sat and sat with no waiter returning to take our order. We won't go back. Too many other great places to eat in Seal Beach.

My husband and I returned her last night for our date night again and it was not to bad, but not something to jump joy over. Last time we where there they had a deep fried sushi roll and it was sooo good. However this time we went and they didn't have it. Disappointed to say the least. We ordered our drinks. I ordered a Strawberry cucumber cooler. It was really gross. It has a very strange flavor. When I told our waitress that I didn't like it she was so sweet about it. She took it back and off of our bill. When then ordered our appetizer (fried Calamari) now that was good. It seemed very fresh. How it was kind of funny the fried to slices of lemon with it. On to dinner. I ordered the meatloaf sandwich, I asked for it to have no onions plz or if they could grill them, I can't stand onions unless they are grilled. Well my sandwich came out full of raw onions. so again I call the waitress over and tell her sorry it has onions. Now I feel bad! But with a happy smile, she apologizes and takes it back. I even said just have them take the onions off and grill them and throw them back on. When it came back out I only ate half of the sandwich. It was dry and no flavor. Won't order that again. My husband ordered the fish and chips, it was huge!! Lets just say he left none for anyone. It ate ever bit. So I am assuming it was really good. Overall I know we will be back but I will stick with a burger or salad and if the happen to have the fried sushi roll again I am so game for that one. The waitress was supper sweet and the manager.

This place is outstanding. Me and some of my friends were visiting the area from Texas last week and were looking for some good seafood. We tried to go somewhere else only to discover that it was closed and ended up at our second choice, The Hangout. It should have been our first choice! We all had the Shrimp Boil and ate until we couldn't move. The beer selection was great, the staff was awesome, and the atmosphere was great. There so many more things in the menu that we wanted to try. Our only regret was not being able to go back before having to go home. We will definitely be paying them another visit when we go back next year.

We decided that this is our new breakfast spot on Sundays after yoga. We got the Hangout rancheros and cleaned our plate along with our bloody Mary's. The spicy is really spicy. Takes the burn all the way down to your bottom ;) the dirty is def for people who enjoy their Bloody Caesar. So good. A must try. And we got a window seat!

Great food!! Great service. We sat right away because we were the first ones there when they opened. LOL. The food was fantastic. I had the breakfast burger with a side of Garlic Aioli was fantastic. I'll start by saying that I think my wife and I just ended up here on the wrong night. The food was great and our waitress was extremely nice. I give the food and staff a 4-5 star rating. The problem for me was the setting we ended up in. It turned out that the owner of the restaurant was eating at a table with his family. despite being with his family, he was constantly getting up to direct workers on what they should be doing. He would get up, stop a worker, and stand there and talk with them for a few minutes. The problem was that he kept doing it at our table. It happened four times in total and twice I was sitting there trying to eat dinner with two peoples' asses inches from my face. Also an odd thing, the owner was allowing his family to walk into the kitchen and come back with food. I'm not sure if they were handling the food themselves, or just picking up finished plates. The whole experience made large parts of our dinner awkward and while it wasn't a huge deal, it wasn't appreciated. Edit: The owner has since apologized for what happened and was extremely nice about it. Definitely will not have a problem going back, knowing how nice he is.

Ok so here's the haps. This place has GREAT breakfast. The mimosas are 95 percent champagne and the service is stellar. The atmo is a bit "family restaurant", but I can see beyond that. Try the cheesy grits, then thank me.

Excellent service and even better food. Couldn't be a more perfect location. I will definitely be returning when I take my next trip up to Seal Beach. The party of 9 was pleased with the entire meal, from food to drinks and everything in between. Would definitely recommend to everyone who likes great American food!

I have yet to return since my last visit but the owner was courteous enough to take note of my experience and send me a message regarding it. I appreciate the professionalism and he reassured me that the incident was likely a rare or isolated occurrence. Maybe sometime in the near future I will try this spot again.

The Hangout is a fantastic place. Located practically at the beginning of the Seal Beach pier. My band Drive plays there frequently (June 7th is next). Aaron the owner is a first class person and his enthusiasm spills over into the food, drinks and service here. Great food, great bar, great service and location. What more could you ask for?

Last night my boyfriend, a couple out of town friends, and myself stopped by here for drinks. We walked in and the bartender, some bitchy girl in a blue top, looked at us and roll her eyes. We sat down and immediately she came over and said "kitchens closed." we replied "that's ok we just came for drinks " but she was already walking away before we finished. she came back a minute or two later and asked if we were ready. My bf turned to us and asked "everyone ready?" But the bartender turned and walked off again. So we did too. I've been a server and normally side with them when I read other peoples bad reviews, but I could not understand what that was about. it wasn't super busy and it wasn't right before closing. Whatever the problem was we wont be going back. we ended up going to Hennessey's which was quieter, more open and our server was super nice.

Nice place across from the beach. The food was very good. I had the Friday night prime rib. Nice think cut of meat. I liked the potatoes and vegetable medley. The fiance had the fried chicken and it was equally good. One of the better places to eat on Main St.

We wanted a Seal Beach adventure and decided to try this place. Atmosphere was great, food is average, service was friendly, overall good experience. Our server was pretty busy so she forgot my drink and took awhile to get the check but was super friendly and courteous and busy. The food is average, nothing amazing but good. Their Sunday special is buy one BBQ meal and two drinks, get a BBQ meal free, but they ran out of it :/ yes we would eat here again.

This is my first time here. Used to come to Seal Beach all the time in the early 80's. Fish tacos were good; think I would have liked fries instead of chips. Very disappointed there was no clam chowder; its only 2 pm. Enjoyed meal.

Family went there for dinner on Monday and had the special 2 for 1 Meatloaf. Surprisingly is was very good. The veggies were seasoned sooo good. My daughter ordered the steak, not good, no flavor and full of fat and gristle. Nice woodsy decor and across street from Seal Beach pier. Service was ok.

Great location...great craft beer....fried green tomato salad tasty.....heres where it goes south......the Jalapeno burger(subbed in the black bean patty)....jalapeno and black bean sounds good.....what I got was a very dry bun that crumbled in my hand with a cold dry black bean patty that then was so friggin spicy you couldnt eat it..... and I like my jalapenos......my server was pleasant but could not understand why she was running around absent minded like a chicken without its head....she had like 3 tables on a monday late afternoon....slow down girl youre giving me anxiety

Our group of 8 descended on this restaurant Friday morning around 9:00. We were able to pull some tables together toward the back and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. Several in the group ordered omelettes, while others cobbled together side dishes. Everyone raved about the food... and my cheese grits were really good! Friendly staff, good service.

Food is amazing! Bloody Mary's 5 stars but the service was horrible.. The place only had 5 tables the waitress only came by once. Only reason I wouldn't go back would be due to the service other than that the food was great!
Owner Aaron wanted me to come back for another shot. Offered to buy me dinner and drinks. I stopped by but wanted to give it an unannounced visit. The place has made a complete 180. The service was great and food and beer selection was really good. Aaron was there, he was a lot of fun. Next time I'll take him up on a free meal/drinks.

Returned for a second meal while on vacation since our kids loved the kids mini angus burgers and my husband wanted to try the Greg Norman burger. First visit was pleasant and good was good. Blackend salmon special was good, clam chowder was too cheesy. But overall a good experience. On the second visit we were greatest by a rude hostess. The waitress made up for it though. The kids loved the burgers again and my husband loved his Greg Norman burger. Highly recommend!

The food was super tasty and the service was great. It's right on the beach, so I image that parking could get hard, but we had no trouble. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and got seated as soon as we walked in. The place had a lot of business but it wasn't packed. Be sure to ask about the craft beers since they're not on the menu. We sat next to the sign they had on the wall with all the beers but didn't notice it until someone else walked up to read it. That being said, we chose this restaurant because a few yelpers had said that it was all organic. That is not the case. The waitress informed us that the owner does try his best to get locally grown organic, and even shops at the farmers market for their food, but not everything is organic. She also informed us they have a lot of vegan options.

I really, really want to like this place but there is just a little something missing. I love pulled pork and have tried The Hangout's twice and its great but missing that sweet tangy BBQ flavor that's expected. Everything is appropriately priced and seating is great but the entry way is a little cramped and doesn't offer a seating area. Great beers on tap and amazing views of the beach and passer byers ! Parking is a little difficult but so it is for everything else on Main St. .

Very pleased. Went for the ambiance, location and price. Stayed for great food, drink and service Bleu cheese bacon fries-awesome Jalapeno pepper jack turkey burger-awesome. Turkey very very good. Chocolate bread pudding-I've had better. Tasted like brownie but had 4! scoops ice cream! Latitude 33 Camel Corps IPA excellent Pomegranate Martini- yum and on $5 martini night (mon) Ahley(?) was server. Eager to please, had suggestions when needed. She was only server and handled about 7 tables with no issues. $42 for two. Did I mention it's on the beach??

So I previously didn't give so much of a phenomenal review after some not so spectacular service. The owner sent me a message and that is why I'm changing my review. Just the fact that he reached out was more than enough :) I beyond recommend the hang out! Try the Mac and cheese balls or the shrimp po boy! Thank you for being awesome Aaron!

This place was bustling on the Saturday night we went here, but the service was still quick and quite friendly. They have a limited draft & bottles selection, though - mostly macros with one or two imports. The food is typical comfort food, with an emphasis on crispiness (crispy fries, crispy bread on the grilled cheese, etc.) - which is to say, it's not swimming in oil. Most of the tables have an excellent view of the nearby Seal Beach pier, so you can watch the sunset during dinner.

In town visiting from the Bay Area, we needed a place to grab some dinner. We were planning on just parking and walking up Main Street until we found something that looked good. Yelp gave this place mixed reviews but the menu looked promising so we decided to give it a shot. We weren't disappointed. I had the meatloaf special, P had the fish tacos and E had the fancy grilled cheese sandwich with four cheeses, sun dried tomatoes and basil oil. The meatloaf had all the right seasoning and the gravy was awesome. The mashed potatoes that came with were just the right texture and was great with the gravy. P loved her fish tacos, they were light, flaky and delicious. The service was great too. We never had an empty glass and everything came out pretty fast considering how crowded it was. Although, our server wasn't sure what hard cider they had and didn't make any effort to find out which it was. The real bummer was the noise level. Between all the people at the bar and the full dining area it was hard to hear someone right across the table. But, we'll definitely stop by again next time we are in town!

We had lunch on 3-16-15. I ordered a grilled ham and cheese and asked to add tomato. To our surprise (party of 6) the sandwich was served with the butt of the tomato core and all. The portion was meager at best one slice of ham. The reason I specify the date is to notify the management of the quality of the chef at the time of service. Frankly we have had a few meals there and in my opinion they were all sub par. I've been a resident of seal for 30+ years and I see them come and go. Invest in a good cook before you loose business. The summer is one thing the winter usually depends on local clientele.

Love Hangout both locations. Food is great service is great people are great. Kuddos to all of them in both locations for a great job. Owners are awesome people. They make sure you are taken care if and with respect. Love the view in Seal Beach. Love the new patio in Huntington Beach.

The Hangout makes it difficult for me to patronize the other food establishments down the road. The service, quality of food, selections, and clean & non-cramped environment make it hard to stray. Breakfast is my most favorite time to show up. There's nothing like warming up with hot bowl of steel cut oatmeal after a cold dawn patrol at the pier. Of course, if Lori wasn't such an amazing server it might make it easier for me to go elsewhere. She takes care to get orders correct, and out expeditiously so meals are presented freshly prepared and piping hot. The Hangout Rancheros are tasty, although I'm not a beans fan. The bacon is noteworthy! Coffee, robust and always fresh. As the night crawls onward, the bar is always an exciting place to be. The bartendresses are always on point, beers are always cold, and good music is always playing. I have yet to try their guava mimosa... update to follow. ;-) If you haven't yet, give The Hangout a try your next food outing. Conveniently located directly across from the Seal Beach Pier, its a great place any time of day, from taking a date and have a stroll down the pier to "walk off" the meal to post surf grinds and grog. Mahalos fo reading, ya!

Tammy our waitress was Great, and when you check in on Yelp you will get an extra 10% off your bill which is Great! My Cajun Shrimp Salad was loaded with lots of Black Beans, Tomatos, Avacados, Corn, Fresh Lettuce, it was So Big i had to get a box to bring it home to finish later. I also ordered a small cup of the Clam Chowder Soup and it really hit the spot for a windy night in Seal Beach. I ordered a regular Passion Ice Tea for my beverage. The price for my meal was $13.00 for everything which i thought was very reasonable for the quanity and quality of my meal. The atmosphere was also very pleasant near the beach so we had a Ocean View.

Went here tonight based on yelp reviews. The food was fantastic! I had fish and chips. The fish was fried perfectly and had great flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive. The location is wonderful, right across from the pier and surrounded by cute little shops. The only negative for me was the noise level in the restaurant. It was very difficult to carry on a conversation.

Get the Tres Tacos with pulled pork! Trust me it's amazing! Fantastic customer service. It's Christmas Eve and the entire wait staff was so nice! The calamari was delicious...the fry the lemons with the calamari so you get the lemon flavor.

My husband wanted to see the live band. I'm not a fan of loud noises or bands but because of the food, I'll listen to anything! Shrimp and Grits so amazing, the southern green is good and my husband ordered the Chili. He was so impressed the chili was spicy and kept talking about that there's cilantro. Didn't see it but he has that satisfied look. The crowd is very casual and I really like the atmosphere. Our server Robbi (I think that's the spelling) was very courteous and very attentive. I guess I have nothing else to say but that grit really sticks to your ribs in a good way.

Just had a super yummy lunch of veggie tacos. Our server, Scott, was very helpful with the beer selection. He recommended the Whiskey Barrel & it was smooth and deeelish! He actually brought me samples of two different types of beer and let me make the choice. Nice touch. I would definitely come back again. The location is right across the street from the pier so you can take a walk on the beach after your meal. Love it!

The Oatmeal was great. Better than any place I've tasted so far. Oatmeal is good if you had a tiny bit too much to drink the night before :-p My wife loved the pancakes and syrup. Tastes different...in a good way. Must try. Bacon is a thick strip not the skinny junk you see at ihop.

The food is always fresh and full of flavor. Special request and modifications to menu items are welcome. The service is fantastic and during breakfast you will never see the bottom of your coffee mug. Lunch items are equally tasty. We visit here several times a month.

I loved my Blue Cheese Bacon Burger, fries were fab, waitress was super nice and the seating wasn't crammed. My friends had to finally tell me to stop talking about how good my burger was; that is how much l enjoyed it. One con- we all thought the fried zucchini kind of sucked. Not much flavor at all, but the miso dipping sauce was really good.

Since moving to Seal Beach I've discovered that this place not only has the banginest bloody Mary's and Epic breakfasts ever but killer din din too! Check out the burgers!!!!! Yuuuuum! Oh and BTW- ask to sit in Cody's section...everyone's super friendly and helpful but the Codester is off the Richter scale!

Service was horrible, and they wouldn't take my coupon for some reason. Also your obviously fake show in the food network was horrible ... You have to pay actors to get publicity?!?!

The hangout is my favorite spot to go. It seems to always be busy but there's always just one table open for my wife, two kids, and me to sit at. The menu is very simple but great! The breakfast is always amazing and I couldn't recommend the bacon Bloody Mary any higher.. By far my favorite Bloody Mary ever! The lunch and dinner is also simple, yet great. The burgers, bacon lettuce avocado and tomato wrap, and the grilled three cheese wrap with sundried tomatoes are just some of the excellent choices they offer. The drink menu is awesome and the service has never been anything short of spectacular.. The waitresses and waiters have always been very friendly, welcoming, and always on top of their sh!t. Even when they are extremely busy you'll always have another drink in hand right away and your food will come out quickly. One of very... Very... And I mean -very- few bars I would give a five star rating.

I liked it. I watched them redo this place practically step by step. They put some time and effort into the remodel. It looks really nice . Well done. Very comfortable. The service was great. I read some of the other reviews and I think the upped their game. No complaints from me. The food was very good, yummy veggie burger and good fries. Reasonable prices. Happy specials for happy hour . 3 huge flat panels with sports. It's not a club , but they have a full bar. I was sorry to see kinda Lahina go, but wish The Hang Out best of luck. Mahalo.

Don't let this little surf shack on the beach with low prices fool you, they're serving up some of the most perfect burgers I've seen. They have wonderful salads and seafood appetizers, but if you come before lunch, get their awesome brunch. Oh, just stay away from the dessert - save room for Cold Stone across the street. ;)

People are friendly, service was good, the hangout rancheros were pretty good, the view and location was AMAZING, the $5 and $8 bloody Mary's were on the weak side but tasty, we will definitely be back!

It was just ok, not terribly impressed with the menu, but the calamari was nicely done, and the addition of the fried lemon slices was unique. Drinks were expensive, but given the location not surprising. Nice clean place, and the bartender was very good. Just an update Went back again a few weeks back, and service was great. Had the clam Chowder this time and it was spectacular. Sat by the window, and watched the sunset. Had to up my stars on this place. I do recommend trying the hangout.

Great Service. Great Vibes, but man the food sucked. I got the classic hangout burger which comes with the hangout "special sauce". The special sauce is a wacked out disgusting version of thousand island, I am no expert but I think there was horseradish in it (GAG!). The fries were SOOOOO salty that they were uneatable. I will be going back to try something else but for now this rating is just on the burger and its sodium enriched fries. Also on a side note my friend ordered a Bloody Mary and the 2nd one he got he asked for them to take it back and just give him a beer because it was SOO SALTY. Maybe the person who is making the fries also made the blood mary mix.

we had never been to the area and relied on yelp to help us out for lunch. it was down to Walt's wharf or The Hangout. the silly deciding factor, since it was just me and the hubby, was that The Hangout had Magner's cider in the bottle. we were overall okay with the decision. James got the Chowder, which I sampled, was really nice, and sliders that he said were "meh" I got a fish sandwich. haddock. generous portion but overall bland and just filled the void. Got seated right away and the place was not packed but busy. sat by a window on a beautiful day with an ocean blvd view. The servers were bustling about but VERY slow to come to you. During the entire experience, we saw our server so infrequently, I eventually went to get waters for us at the bar. Chalk it up to getting to know the area. I think we'll skip it next time and go somewhere else. 3 stars for seating fast at lunchtime, location, portion, done correctly and cleanliness

Close to beach. Casual atmosphere. Food and drinks very good and not your everyday bar food, its closer to a beachcomber gastropub.

Only 61 reviews??? That's it! My husband and I are from out of town, and literally stumbled upon this place. This place is amazing! The location is perfect, it's on the cutest street in town full of shops galore and it has a view of the ocean, can't beat that! The staff is super friendly and helpful. We waited about 1 min. for our table and in that minute were asked if we wanted to order drinks we could take to our table, perfect! They have the BEST Bloody Mary's I have ever had, a bacon Bloody Mary to be exact! Our waiter once seated was Cody. My husband and I were instantly talking about how much we loved this place, and to top it all off, all cheesiness aside, our waiter once seated was the BEST WAITER I have ever had in my life! Seriously! No I don't know this guy, but really, super friendly, very helpful, offered advice on menu items and was super attentive and extremely accurate! Double score! Great place for kids! But the food! Triple score! The seafood is all amazing. We had the smoked fish appetizer plate, oh my! Yum! Very simple ingredients; but when combined together were amazing! I had the fish tacos for lunch, Cody's advice and it did not disappoint! My husband had the shrimp 'po boy...huge and delish! My only complaint is I don't live closer, but next time I'm in town, I know where we will be!

Clam chowder was excellent. The waitress let me test the chowder and chili to see which I preferred. Wife got the fish tacos thought they were great. They have a kids menu which was a big plus for us. Will return to this establishment. Service was very good also.

So my first time coming here I wasn't a huuuuge fan, I just didn't think anything was that super. BUT, went here this morning for an early lunch and I was pleasantly surprised :) My burger with bacon and bbq sauce was super tasty and my boyfriends salmon sliders were fantastic (I'm getting those next time!) - our french fries were extra crispy and super, super tasty. They were just ending breakfast, so while we waited for lunch to begin we snacked on a side order of cheesy grits, they were sooooo flavorful! And the Javatinis coffee was wonderful, and our original bloody mary was fantastic as well. Service was also friendly and efficient. I will absolutely be back :)

My friends and I arrived there at 12:30. And we waited for 10 miutes. The waitress was nice. I ordered smoked ham egg benedict. The egg was awesome! And you can change theenglish muffin to vegatable. Quite a good place and the view outside is good.

I was hoping this little place was as good as the reviews said it was. Don't get me wrong...it was pretty good "bar" food. But not great. Ambiance is nice since it's right near the water. $4 bloody Mary's on Sundays are always nice. Service slow but very friendly. 2 1/2 stars for me.

Good old-fashioned American food in a great location. Service is good and the bathrooms are clean. A-1! I'm just glad this place is nothing like Thai on Main, which sucks.

Had the Southern Omelet and was less than impressed. With that said the Bacon Bloody Mary was ok the staff are nice and the location is great, Will I come back? Sure but next time for the beer selection that looks good.

Stopped in here for happy hour and I was delighted. I enjoyed the beer selection and they had a great happy hour deal. I was there for drinks, so I only sampled the happy hour appetizers, but the were great. Perfect snacks to prep for a big night. Bartenders are friendly. Great beach atmosphere without feeling like a chickee bar.

We had high hopes for this place but were very disappointed. Bloody Mary's were average. Fries seemed old. Seemed dry, unseasoned and a bit stale. Grilled cheese was generic. BLAT wrap was flavorless unless you actually got a bite with bacon. Ranch dressing was blah. Service, although very friendly, was poor. Took forever to get refills and check.

Have been here twice now, once just for drinks in the bar and the other time for dinner. I like The Hangout a lot. Very comfortable inside and a great view of the beach/pier. It's the kind of place where you would feel right at home if you were dining alone. They have daily specials and a happy hour from 3 to 6 pm, so check out their website. Thursday is half off bottles of wine, all day. We took advantage of that and also had the Angus Blue Burger and a spicy shrimp salad. Both were great. The service was very good as well. Will definitely be back!

Came to this spot because I saw some pretty good reviews on yelp. I was in the area after I got my nails done down the street at Beauty oasis nail salon (will be posting a review for this place too) Ate here for lunch and got the NY steak sandwich. It was their version of a Philly cheese steak.. So the sandwich has portobello mushroom, peppers, onion, cheese and aioli sauce.. With a side of fries for $11.95.The concept was great with the chunky tender steak but the steak was under seasoned. It didn't taste as if they put any salt and pepper before they cooked it on the grill top. So it was a little bland.. They gave a generous serving of fries! That's a plus.. And the view was nice.. The restaurant is across the street from the pier so you can people watch while eating.. The server was nice. I asked her if I could use the yelp check in and receive 10% off on entire bill offer she said yes that's fine but when I got the bill the 10% was not on it. I didn't want to make a fuzz so I just left it alone. Too bad that 10% could have been added to her tip. So instead of my customary 20-25% tip, I had to tip less. I'm not saying I'm never coming back to this place, I'll give it another go in the future but not anytime soon since there are other restaurants in the area that I wanna try. Overall I would recommend this place. Maybe Next time I'll try the bloody Mary's.. They looked yummy in the pictures and maybe I'll try their fish and chips. See... Something to look forward to!

This is a great place to come for a casual bite to eat, good drinks, and you can't beat the location. It's directly across from the Seal Beach Pier, we love to sit near the window so we can look out at the ocean. Great place to come for lunch to cool off in the summertime. My parents actually go every Sunday morning for breakfast.

Average food, average drinks. Nothing really special about this place. I got the chicken club that looked huge with a small chicken breast that was big enough for half the sandwich.

We came here for breakfast as first timers! YuM n Delicious! You can't beat the view, right across the street from beach/pier. Clean n quick service. Prices are reasonable and the quantity is perfect. Two easy over eggs to perfection with 4 pieces of applewood bacon, blueberry pancakes with fresh fruit warmed butter/syrup crispy hashbrowns and rye toast w/best jam spread ever tasted! Coffee was fresh, wish they had flavored creamer...hubby ordered the ham and eggs which he swore was deli ham so order the bacon instead. Will definitely be returning!

The hangout has great potential and I would love to see it become a top notch restaurant in Seal which I am sure they are capable of. Fine tuning and attention to detail is needed. I have tried this place 4 times. Once for breakfast and 3 times for dinner. In those times, I received the most inconsistent experiences from any dining establishment I have ever been. Some good food, some inedible. Some great service, some attitude and rudeness. And some strange details that maybe are just my fault. GREAT BURGERS. The bartenders claim to have the "best burger in Seal" was a bit ambitious but somewhat delivered. She did give a glare when I ordered a water with it at the bar while my other friends ordered beers, and rolled her eyes when my friend ordered a veggie burger. He called her out for her reaction to his order and she replied, "There's so many other good things on the menu". Fine. But what if he's a vegetarian? And he does think your VEGGIE BURGER is delicious. ONE time I went for dinner and had a great experience. Although overall service was a little slow, we didn't mind because the food was good and the waitress was extremely pleasant. We left happy. I had a horrible experience here with a steak. I never order steak unless at a steak house but felt like treating myself. What a mistake. Although my first few bites were awesome.... then.. what was this in the middle of the ENTIRE cut?? An inedible line of grizzle? No. It wasn't until I told the experience to a friend of mine (who is a butcher) that I learned what I thought was tough fat really was a nerve ending from the end cut of beef that shouldn't have been served as a strip. I didn't want to complain because we were using a coupon and.. come on... who wants to be THAT guy. I'm sure the management would have reconciled me if I did anyways. I did notice this item was not on the menu the next time I came in. Breakfast. Good. Your cooks pepper eggs before the plate hits the table. Not a problem for me because I love pepper, but I've never been to a place that does this and could be a problem for someone else. I will return if I am craving a good restaurant burger but thats about it.

Fish & Chips! This place has a lot of great food but I love the fish and chips. They're half price on Wednesdays. I like to have a lot business lunches here with clients. You can't beat the view either!

Hands down a must try place. What a view, everywhere you sit in the restaurant you can look out and see the ocean. They have an awesome staff and all very friendly.I had there brisket it was awesome. Nice lite bun, a creamy horseradish sauce, aju and fries soooo good.. Also had there new England clam chowder best in town the server said they make it daily!!! Ill be back I love the place.....

Had a few hours to kill with my son so we gave it a try. I had the brisket sliders and my son had the BBQ wings. Both were really good but we asked for a side of BBQ sauce and they someone were now out, easily within one minute of the wings getting delivered to the table. I had a flight from their craft beer list which was great and of course the atmosphere was amazing with the breeze blowing off the ocean through their open windows. If it wasn't for just wanting to try a variety of different restaurants as a tourist, I would definitely go back.

This place is super cute. Had breakfast here. Wonderful bloody mary, clean atmosphere, service friendly, they had linens on some tables which I loved but I noticed others didn't... maybe left over from dinner service the night before? Atmosphere is super casual. I had the salmon omelet which I was a little disappointed in but not enough to not come back and try something else. My omelet was overcooked and had overcooked salmon (not lox) and a small stick of cream cheese in a corner. Spread that love out! Will come back for breakfast another weekday and enjoy an easy breakfast. I am sure they are packed on the weekends.

Would go back and I do like their other location. Came here on a Friday during the day and got in immediately. It was busy though. I had the jalapeño burger and garlic fries... Goodness their fries are tasty!!! View of the ocean, and if you have a bike you locked up by the pier, you can watch it from the restaurant... The added security is nice :)

Their clam bucket was delicious. I love the stew it was in and everything in that dish was fantastic. I would definitely recommend that dish to seafood lovers. The chicken club sandwich was okay.

I really like this place. Good vibe, good food, nice ocean view location. My most recent trip was for brunch - had super expensive bagel n lox for whopping $14. Just because I was really in a mood for it, I ordered it anyways and just hoped that it would be really good. aaaand it was really good! yeah! You literally only get your bagels + lox (no sides) but you get toasted bagels, cream cheese, very thick & fresh lox that melts in your mouth, pickled red onion, tomato slices, and capers. Combination of all these little ingredients made super yummy bagel n lox. Not sure if I want to pay $14 for this each time I come but I sure was satisfied! My hubby got eggs Benedict + side of hash browns. It was nice that they made hash browns very thin so that you can get them really crispy! He really liked it, too.

I heard about the double bypass burger and decided to make mine a triple. It wasn't quiet lunch time but my server ( sorry I don't know her name) said she would put my order in. I was happy since I walked from Newport Beach and was kinda hungry. I'm trying to get fit that's why I was walking. Everyone was looking as my burger was served to me. I guess they never saw a burger that size. Honestly I thought it would have been larger. I ate the burger in sections, and finished off with the fries. The burger was very tasty but I wish it was a quad bypass. I was still hungry lol. As other diners were leaving they asked questions about my burger. They were shocked I ate it so fast. I plan to return and try other menu items. Everything looked so good. I will get a quad bypass one day and will have to get dessert too.

Love this place! Food and service is excellent. It's a little noisy but that's the whole vibe of this place. I ordered shrimp pot and it was so good. My bf had $10 ribs for southern supper night every Sunday was also good. Would totally recommend this place!

Love this place! Great little beach place with amazing views and people watching at Seal Beach pier. We usually go for happy hour. Although pretty crowded at the most popular times, the bar service is friendly and always spot on! Bartender Joey is awesome! Professional, smart, friendly, and always remembers my hubby and I. Great drinks, food is always tasty, and service, both in the bar area and the restaurant has always been the best. Great dinner specials each night. So much fun, we go there too often!

Great food, reasonable prices, and if you sit by the window the view is priceless. We split the classic burger, and they even precut and placed it on two different plates, very good customer service. Bloody Mary's were ver good.

We came around 6pm on Sunday and it looked busy but we got the table right away. They have few larger tables in a middle if you have a company of friends. Tables for two are pretty small. We ordered appetizer & two meals and they all came at the same time, plus drinks so there was no space on our table for anything else (I like to put my elbows on a table when I eat, I know it's so inappropriate lol but that's how it is). Food is good. Prices are okay considering that it's a beach area so that's what you expect when you go to places like this. Special thanks to bartenders because they made out time in Hangout more pleasant with all the variety of their cocktails & what I loved the most you can order a drink off the menu. Like literally anything you want they will try their best to make it for you! Servers were awesome, attentive & kind :)

I love this place. Right across the street from the beach and easy to get to, this adorable beach bar and grill is awesome! The haven't eaten a single bad thing here. The people that work here are friendly and the food is so good! It's one of my favorite beach spots.

Fish n chips on Wednesday are half off. The batter was light and crispy, the fish was moist and flaky. I give them a 4.5 stars. Cheese steak melt sandwich was a 3 out of 5 stars. The meat was good but overall it was just ok. The service was 5 out of 5. It was fast and super friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean they have a nice cozy bar attached to the dining area. I would come back again

Awesome location. Sits right at the entrance to the pier, and looks out into the ocean. The staff and service were great. Very friendly. Different servers waited and checked on us regularly. The food was very good and surprisingly inexpensive for the location. Definitely would go back.

As a Bartender I like to go places on my day off that have good food and good drinks. The drinks here are top notch, food is real good. I had the tempura mushrooms, chicken wings and Blue CHEESE BACON FRIES. They have daily specials, prices are fare, drinks are strong and food so far is great. Servers are cute and very friendly. I'm glad I found this little jewel. I always feel at home coming In... Seating is a little tight but well worth it.

Must try the Calamari with the habanero on the side. The hamburgers are also very good.

The portions are large, the food is average, most fried. They have good Happy Hour Specials. I enjoy the Bar more than the restaurant. The appetizer's are limited while the menu choices are great. The Burgers are great!! The flair and service are stale, Too many other restaurants on beach much nicer and better food and service. After several visits I will not come here to dine but just for the bar Happy Hour. Maybe!!!!

Great place for an occasion! Great food, excellent service and management, and a beautiful view of the ocean as well! My boyfriend and I recently celebrated his birthday here and it was really extra special. We were seated with a romantic view of the sun setting over the ocean and a beautiful view of the Seal Beach pier area. This restaurant has a great beach location as well if you want to take a stroll afterwards. We started our evening with a delicious steamed clam appetizer that was to die for! Love the garlic aioli topping giving it a unique twist and oh so delicious. I highly recommend this to start your meal! For a great steak combination order the "surf and turf" which was prepared perfectly and a good value as well. We ended it all with a chocolate bread pudding which is very rich and indulgent for all of you chocolate lovers out there! And for those of you that like a good martini..they know how to make one here. Dont forget they have a Monday Night Martini special for $5 which is well worth a drop in for their happy hour too! Can't wait to return.

This place was terrible. The classic rock was cool, but that was the only positive. They were not busy, yet the service was super slow (maybe that's where the name comes from - they force you to hang out?). The pulled pork sliders were the worst I have ever had- blobs of fat throughout, with a really watery and super salty sauce that might somewhere be considered BBQ - somewhere I feel very sorry for. I would have sent them back and ordered something different, but the rest of my party said their food was pretty bad, too, and I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for something else. To top it off, I woke up in the middle of the night with an upset stomach.

After my earlier 2-star rating, the owner contacted me to say they had made some changes and to offer us a free meal. He did not ask me to re-review his restaurant. My mother and I opted for breakfast. My mother was favorably impressed with the huevos rancheros. i did not taste it. I tried their seafood version of eggs Benedict in which smoked salmon stands in for the Canadian bacon. That turned out to be a worthy substitution, a nice twist on the original. The eggs were nicely cooked with runny yolks, an absolute necessity for a successful eggs Benedict. The hollandaise could have used a dash of lemon. Nice, but superfluous, hash browns accompanied the eggs. So why no fourth star? The service, while friendly, was still slow. (The following didn't influence my rating, but they did raise my spirits. Our friendly server, Tammy, showed long, bare legs topped by snug short shorts. The hostess who seated us wore a nice short dress. More restaurants should adopt this style.)

My wife and I have been to the Hangout 4 or 5 times now. Each time we've come we've had good service and good food. This past Sunday morning we went in for breakfast for the first time. It was also good. I had the Maui omelet and my wife had the Texas Egg sandwich. We first ordered spicy Bloody Mary's. They do a nice job with their Bloody Mary's. I've had their various versions of them and they've always been consistent. And on Sundays they're $2.00 off! Try the Wednesday night Fish Fry. Fish dishes are half price. The fish tacos come three to a plate and are a great value at half price.

Top honors goes to only the best in my book, and this "hangout" is a place to be reckoned with. Let me tell you how good it feels to walk into a place that welcomed us with music and a bar area that was open and alive. 70's and 80's music is what played last night (Sunday) and the football game played on the wide screen tvs too. I loved the menu because it was short and sweet and that's what probably makes this place a knockout on a Friday or Sat night (I will have to come back, for sure). Anyhow, we ordered the calamari and the Tres Tacos--the fried shrimp choice. I was amazed at the calamari, for not only was it perfectly spiced and crispy, it had a surprise that opened up my taste buds in a good way--it had just a couple of fried lemon slices in it. Now I gotta tell ya--never had it before but I liked it because it was very thinly sliced, dipped in the same breaded spices as the calamari and you wouldn't know the difference except in the bite---oh boy yum!!!!!!! When the tacos came a bit later I was happy because normally you get tons of coleslaw with fish tacos but in the case of the HANGOUT, they do it quite nicely with a generous layering of fried shrimp over thin crispy tacos. Inside is a bit of red coleslaw, some pico de gallo and a zig zag of sour cream rather than how other restaurants do it with a glop of sour cream. I also had their special drink of the night---A Sunday Bloody Sunday. I thought the spice was great, as were the veggies on top: a green olive, a sliced lemon, and a celery stick--tasty! I guess my only request for next time is to make it more bloody, but I guess I should ask for that next time since it's a personal preference for the tomato fan in me. Top greetings to the owner because he came around to talk to us personally...that's a personal touch that some places forget...but not this hangout! The server was great too as was another server who didn't even serve us, but that's what you call great hospitality--when a crew knows how to be attentive to each other's tables--awesome! What makes you feel at home at a restaurant is not just the decor, but the people and in my book this place is one I want to return to for those reasons alone, much less everything else:) One last thing, and most important is that this may not be Kinda Lahaina (as it was previously known), but it doesn't matter because it has made itself known just with what I have mentioned here, much less for what else others may find in it. To me it's like a treasure chest--open it up and you will find your heart's desire.

I go out to breakfast every morning. I love to bike to the Hangout once or twice a week from Naples Island. They have excellent food, nice decor, nice views of Seal Beach pier, and the water, all at very reasonable prices. The wait staff is great too. I don't order the oatmeal anywhere else since I got spoiled by these guys. Steal Cut Oat Meal not cooked ahead of time but to order, fresh! Also they have sea salt on the tables. Taste better and really good for you! Try it, you'll like it.

Ate at the Hangout tonight for the first time. We got a coupon on the back of our grocery receipt at the market up the street and decided to try it. WOW. Not only did we love the food, we loved the $10 discount, and we had a server named Cody, who was the epitome of a perfect, attentive, friendly, caring waiter. He took such good care of our table, and they were busy. Food came out fast, tasty, and we were all happy with our choices. The bacon and blue cheese fries were fantastic. LOVED the food and service. Good thing we can get the coupon anytime we want at the market, because we are going to be going to the Hangout a lot!! Would highly recommend the HANGOUT, for hangin in......

If you are looking for a great breakfast I do not recommend coming here....actually, add a bloody mary to that as well. With such few breakfast items on the menu, one would think that the items that they were actually serving would be stellar. Well, you would think wrong. A little disappointed really. They have such an amazing location in seal...its too bad they dont have the menu items to attract a better crowd. Don't feel I will be coming back here any time soon.

I was here last Saturday. There was a family with a screaming baby that lasted over 30 minutes. People were visibly annoyed and I even saw people walk up to them. After 30 min someone took the screaming child out. The waiters were very apologetic even though it was not their fault. Later the waiter came by and said he felt really bad because the child had autism. The family came back in with the child and I witnessed the staff being so sweet to the family. This review is 5 stars to the staff and their professionalism. I have kids with special needs. Personally for me I would not have brought them into this place when they were babies as it is a bar and would be over stimulating. I fully understand tolerance with special needs. Kids with needs have every right as kids with out needs. When it comes to screaming babies I personally feel that with needs or not take them outside and not make a whole restaurant subjected to the torture. All everyone hears is screaming, they don't know if a child has needs or not. People go to a restaurant to have a nice meal with good service. Kiddos to this staff.

I went here for breakfast last weekend. I am not a breakfast eater so I ordered a typical club sandwich. The food was alright. Nothing too special. My friend ordered herself some French Toast and that was much better than my sandwich. Service was good. But not something I have to run back to go again.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. We tried once before but the wait was too long (only about 20-30 minutes, I'm just impatient when I'm hungry) this time there was 2 spots open at the bar and we sat immediately. I had pancakes, eggs, and bacon. It was delicious. My girlfriend had the Jack Daniels French toast, she loved it and I had a bite, it was sweet but not too sweet and tastes amazing. The service was great the entire time. (Didn't catch our servers name, shoulder length red hair) she was on top of everything and offered good suggestions on food and drink. If you get mimosa's I recommend getting a bottle, it's cheaper that way. I highly recommend The Hangout for it's food, service, and atmosphere. Afterwards you can go for a walk on the pier or beach across the street.

My husband-to-be and I went to The Hangout for dinner and to find a reception area for our wedding. Long story short, even though the website clearly states "The Hangout Restaurant and Bar is the perfect place to host your event or just have us do the cooking/catering for you.", the man we asked told us there was "no way I can accommodate you". This was for a group of twenty. Turned out it was the OWNER who told us this, I guess he doesn't need the business. We ordered two drinks and a couple of appetizers, neither was especially flavorful, the drinks were just ok. All in all, I suppose it's a good thing we didn't have our reception at The Hangout, bland food and ho-hum drinks do not make for a memorable event.

We had a large party on 12/23/2013, they were very gracious and accommodating. The food and service was excellent! This will be our new hangout for our annual dinner on Christmas Adam (used to go to the restaurant at the end of the pier for 14 years) - so glad we needed to find a new venue!!!!!!

I went to The Hangout again last night for a couple drinks & some appys in the bar. I had the Ocean Ave, a delicious mix of gin, St Germain, lemon, cucumber & mint. It tasted like "More, please!". It is the perfect drink for summer & I guarantee I will be having a few more of these in the future. We had the deviled eggs & the hush puppies. The eggs were good, pretty standard, with bacon. The hushpuppies were excellent. They had little bits of corn & ham, fried to perfection. The inside was soft & spongy, and they weren't oily at all. I loved the dipping sauce too. One thing I failed to mention in my first review was that it took a little while for our food to come out. We didn't mind, as we were sitting at a table, enjoying the view. This time our food came out really quickly. I noticed that it was pretty busy in the dining room, so it seems they have that issue ironed out. While I was there I had the chance to talk to Joey, the bartender, and Aaron, the owner. It is obvious to me that Aaron has put his heart & soul into this place & is listening to both the criticism & the kudos being given by the local community & Yelpers. It is very difficult to do a complete remodel & open a whole new restaurant in such a short amount of time. Every new restaurant has its kinks, and I am sure that any issues people have with this place will be forgotten once they have been open for a while. To judge a restaurant on Memorial Day weekend the first week they are open is just silly, IMO. I can't wait to try the mac & cheese.

Went in on Memorial day and boy was it packed. Still got a great meal and service though. The food is described as sea food American. The menu isn't very large but the items they do have look very good and well thought out. Also I've noticed restaurants with a small menu size tend to have faster service. If you can try to get a table next to a window as the place has a great view of the ocean. The owner sometimes works behind the bar, and is a social guy. If you happen to get into a conversation with him just smile and nod, as this pleases him.

Came here last Thursday night and WOW what an experience!! We had the crunchy roll, the spicy salmon roll with no rice, spicy edamame, and the shrimp and grits!! BEST sushi in town, hands down! And the best grits I have ever had. The food was exceptional! I Can't wait too come back and try more! Way to go Hangout! We will definitely be back and this is one place I will be raving about!!

Really good location with a good view of Seal Beach Pier. They have a lot of great beers on tap, usually a rotating micro brew selection. I get the shrimp tacos a lot and sometimes the corn fritters.

The service was very prompt and attentive. The beer was good and cold. Reallllyyyyy good berry mojito! The grilled fish tacos were AMAZING! They also have awesome stir-fry. The view out the window of the beach and pier at sunset made it a great experience.

Nice update to the tired Lahaina Grill. Food was pretty good. I had the blackened salmon but it wasn't blackened at all. Two of my kids loved their fish and chips! One ordered the mac and cheese but it was literally a 1/2 cup serving!!! The fries were the majority of the meal. Definitely not worth the $5 even though our server claimed it was gourmet. An additional bowl is $2 sans fries. If you order the adult size, ask how much you get! That is a complete rip off! One thing we did love was the concept of the altruistic wine. Depending on what you order, 50% of wine sales go to a charity (ie: Chardonnay goes to breast cancer charities). I wish so many more restaurants would participate in this! Bravo Hangout. Let's just work on the mac and cheese.

Jason And Rachel Y.
The Hangout, by the lucky stars, is in a cute and quaint section in Seal Beach, even luckier, with the ocean & pier view! Great place to watch the sunset. My man got the tres fish tacos and I got the salmon sliders. All was good but I liked my dish the best ;) Good fries as well. Friendly people there as well and that itself earned a star. After your meal, go for a walk on the beach, the pier, or visit the cute shops. Can't get any better than this.

Decided to try this place on a lazy Sunday morning and was quite pleased. Although it was a little crowded but what place isn't on Sundays. We only waited about 10 min tor a table and both the server and hostess we verry nice and accommodateing. I ordered a bloody Mary and my o my how yummy it was! The food was equally as tasty.. I will deffanitly be back!

This review is only for the food. I did not have any drinks....(a must for this awful food) In one word the food was a FAIL!!! I came here with my husband and we ordered the Calamari, Angus burger and Pasta Shrimp. The Calamari was BLAND. The breading fell off while we tried to dip it into the sauce (which was not too bad). Worst Calamari I've ever had. Next, the pasta...hated it! Soooo BLAND! The shrimp was awful, maybe it was overcooked? How do you mess up pasta?! Noodles, sauce, seems simple enough. Guess not. The Angus burger tasted dry. I packed the burger with ketchup in hopes of resuscitating it, but to no avail. Another FAIL! We left most of the food on the plate. No, nice waitress we DO NOT want to take this ish home. We left vowing never to come back, unless it was to try their beers with a full stomach of food from somewhere else! Eat anywhere else but here if you head down to Seal Beach!

Thought I'd give this place a try again... We went on a Friday night for dinner and unfortunately we were disappointed again. Calamari came out cold and we had to send back, hush puppies were over cooked and we ordered dessert and the waitress never brought it out. I've been here for breakfast and I will probably just stick to that. It's disappointing because its so close to home and in such a great location it would be nice to grab a nice dinner here. So two stars for breakfast and location!

I'm your typical YELP abuser, I never write reviews, any time I'm in an area that I'm unfamiliar with I hop on and search for good places. Usually I just pick a place with a lot of stars :) I've been to Seal Beach a couple of times (mostly drink my way up and down the street), I was there 2-3 weeks ago and saw that this place was under construction didn't think much about it. I came back for Memorial Day, parked the car, saw that it was open and was really busy, so I hopped on YELP to see what the feedback was... it wasn't very good. My girlfriend looked at the menu and talked to the owner, she liked that everything was organic and blah, blah, blah. We got seated ordered a couple drinks, she tried the Jalapeno Margarita? It was very tasty. I had a Berry Mojito, my signature drink, I noticed how much fresher it tastes than most places and was pleased. Then we ordered lunch I had the the calamari appetizer and a burger and the GF had fish and chips. The wait time was pretty good for as busy as they were. We were both really happy with the experience. After we left she told me that I needed to write a review and I said no problem (I was a couple of drinks in maybe and forgot but you know women, they never forget :) XOXO (Hopefully she reads this)

I typically order sides because I don't usually like the meals as they offer them on a menu. What I don't expect is for them to treat My breakfast like a second class citizen and bring out multiple small plates for each item with no garnish. It just looked horrible. While the other people at the table got beautiful plates of food, I just get small separate small plates. Lame and stupid. I wanted to throw it in the trash and walk out. I expect a place to take My custom breakfast, put it on a plate, garnish it, make it look nice and presentable, and treat it like My meal. Probably won't go back. It just made me mad. Plenty of other places to eat. Service was very slow too. Got really bored waiting for the food. It was an excessive wait. Kinda Lahina was better. The menu was very limited too.

O MY GOD!!! I love the Hangout! The food is amazing. My husband, my two sons, and I all loved our food. We were there for a week in Los Angeles and decided to stop by Seal Beach to visit a friend. I loved the menu of food, not clutter but with just amount of good selection to choose from. My sons are picky eater. They ordered pancakes, french toast, sausage, bacon, and eggs. Both of them ATE all the food on their plates which is very rare. Needless to say, being a mother, I am so grateful for the wonderful food. They loved it!!! I had a few bites of their breakfast, WOW. The pancakes were so light and fluffy with a little sugar powder on top. The hash brown were flavorful and crispy. Yummy!!!! My husband and I ordered a calamari, fish burger and hamburger/fries. The CALAMARI was the best I have ever had in my life and I am not exaggerating. It's crispy and light with a little lemon twist. The fish burger and hamburger were very good. The fries were lightly seasoned and crispy. The service was very good also. The waitress was very attentive to the needs of my sons - coloring paper, crayons, and other kids demand :). All in all, I loved this place.

Tough to find a great breakfast spot... I have a small # of go to places and each has its specialty (pancakes, beer selection, patio) you get my point. Anyway, this is now part of my Sunday breakfast rotation. Great service, amazing blood marys, and the best tasting steak and eggs I've had. The NY strip here is flavorful and tender earning it a spot on my Sunday "go to" list! The bloody mary selections are amazing (I opted for the classic but they have one with bacon, shrimp, and the list or lust goes on). Even the basic rocked my tastebuds, and was offered on special for Sunday. The Hangout is my new hangout!

I have only been here once. We had a nice dinner with live music. Met the owner. Super mellow cool guy. We had our 3 kids with us. I felt relaxed even though I had demanding little monsters with me. The musician was playing covers like Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, Eagles..., that along with my cocktail helped. Great atmosphere. Look forward to returning. They have coupons from the local Vons on all of the receipts.

I love this place!! Every meal has been perfect. My favorite would be between the crablegs and the salmon....also the falafel app is delish. Scott Taucher is the chef who does an amazing job...he always makes you feel like you are the only one he is serving. The drinks are outstanding always. I highly recommend The Hangout for a great place to go for a great meal, app, and/or drinks"

I have been coming this restaurant for over 25 years. I've been twice since it became the Hangout. I can say that I am not going back. First of all, we asked if we could substitute biscuits and gravy for toast on the Hangout breakfast. We were told no, yet directly above the Hangout breakfast is a note that substitutions or split plates are $2.00. So, instead I paid $8.00 for a biscuit cut in half and lightly coated with gravy. We had to ask for more. I ordered the Turf Benny breakfast. When I was served, I received the Surf Bennys, which I sent back. Within a second my plate returned. I was happy until I realized the cooks scraped off the some of the salmon, plopped a piece of ham on the plate and passed it back. I sent it back a second time. The server acknowledged that it was not alright, yet didn't even comp one item on my bill. I was disappointed with the service and the food, that I will never go back. Bree, you might want to take some classes on customer service.

The place is amazing!!! The best view on Main St in Seal Beach right on the corner looking right out to the ocean!!! The food is to die for. By far the best fish and chips i ever had and the portion size is huge. They have daily specials almost everyday!!! I go on Wednesdays for 1/2 off fish and Fridays for there melt in your mouth prime rib!!!!

Ya I got a free meal at the grand opening but its not the first free meal of my life and it doesnt buy a great review. Truth is the hangout is a beautiful addition to seal beach. True to its name had a blast just hanging out. Great on tap beer selection and high end local /organic bar food.

Food (hamburger) was nothing special. Service was not very good. We didn't get noticed after sitting down for almost 10 mins. on a weekday lunch. I won't be back.

My husband had breakfast...pancakes and bacon....the pancakes were big and fluffy and the bacon cooked perfectly crispy. I saw a po boy on the menu and asked if they would do a combo...shrimp & clams. Let me tell you, that was the best po boy I had since New Orleans. The clams were thick, big and tender with little breading. Usually clams are strips of rubber coated in thick breading...not these!!!

Okay. The calamari was too heavily breaded and greasy. Decided not to stay for the main course because I did not like the calamari. Went for a beer at Clancys instead and a cinnamon roll at Sweet Jills.

The food is good the atmosphere is nice. I have been in the resturant a few times and was NOT overly impressed with the service. The new bar staff is not very friendly AT ALL and the wait staff is equally as unfriendly. We ordered several appetizers and drinks and sat near the bar. The food runner just came by and dropped our food on the table as if I were dining in some rude nasty diner (like the ones in movies), the plates were literally slammed on the table. Each time we order another appetizer we had to ask for plates and silverware. The staff is obvisouly not passionate about there job. It seems like the entire staff has little to no experience in the resturant industry. I hope the resturant does well, but will not be back until us locals make positive comments.

Great location across the street from the seal beach pier. A-ok just as the three star implies. Eggs, bacon toast ,coffee and service were all average. I want to try lunch or dinner and see if anything wows me.

This place is a fantastic improvement from when it used to be Kinda Lahaina which in it's later years had become the Justin Beiber of restaurants, fake, cheesy, soulless, and better off dead. That's why I was so happy to see a new restaurant open at this location. The wife and I went here for breakfast and had their huevos rancheros. The dish was a little different than what I've had before but was really good. The thing that totally got my attention was that it was served with flour/corn tortillas. Not flour and corn tortillas but one tortilla that was made out of both flour and corn, let's call it a forn tortilla. Anyways I could go on and on about this tortilla, but I won't, instead go in and have one.

Let me start out by saying this place is no Kinda Lahaina. Thank goodness for that! As a long time Seal Beach residents that live within a 1 minute walk to this property, we are so happy to have it be a viable option for a meal or drink. We have eaten here several times in their short few weeks of being open. At time service has been slow. At time there's been confusion. They are a brand new restaurant with new staff, I'm not sure what people expect? It's not like you can practice serving large crowds before you open. We've been privy to many a new restaurant on Main and I can easily say that there have been others that have taken months to run as smooth as The Hangout currently is. Let's get onto the food. I've had the fish and chips twice. The batter is light and scrumptious. The fish is so tender and flakey it falls apart nicely. I think the thing that surprised me the most was the "chips". I don't normally love french fries and can easily avoid. Not these. I'm not sure what they are putting on them for seasoning but they are delicious. I've had the fried chicken and cheesy grits. I wasn't 100% sure on this meal due to not loving grits but they someone made them fantastic. The chicken was moist and the batter was perfect. I've been there for breakfast a few times and have had some of their omelets which were also fantastic. They changed their hash browns from the first time I had them and I think I would like the hash browns somewhere in between the original ones and the current ones. The important thing to note is they are listening to feedback and making adjustments. So for anyone that left grumpy without mentioning anything to the staff, that's your bad. As a small business owner myself, I can only fix what I know is broken. Let's move onto the drinks. The Jalapeño Margarita is AMAZING. It's spicy yet sweet at the same time. You do have to be careful as they go down so nicely that you might find yourself 3 of them in before you know what's hitting you. I'm just so happy to have such a great restaurant in this prime location. It's a perfect addition to Seal Beach. I am going to try to have everything on the menu. Well, if I can get away from the fish and chips that is.

The food was awful! Very bland. Brisket sandwich was super dry and looked microwaved. Shrimp poboy was oily and salty! Yuck!

The hangout is my favorite new restaurant! I went there with some friends and the food was to die for! Everything was very fresh and hearty. I had the fish tacos and my sister had the blue cheese burger and i could honestly say they were the best fish tacos I've ever had! And my sister loved the burger that was paired with their amazing sweet potato fries! And their cocktails are delicious! We got the jalapeño margarita and the lime fresca! Both were very refreshing and yummy!! I cannot wait to go back!

I'm pleased to say the hangout has great service and good food. I deleted my old comment after the first opened about the poor service because they have really changed things around for the better. Thanks guys. Everyone has been super friendly and very efficient!

Absolutely terrible. Kinda Lahina was better and thats not saying much. Food was soso, and service wasn't good at all. You would think a prime location as this would have great food. Seal Beach needs a good restraunt, I'm still looking for it.

This place sucks I went today with my two sisterwe walk in there and there was no hostess so we thought that we had to sit ourselves but then we noticed that all of the tables were dirty so we stood but no one would help us.. The whole time we were there a girl that was at the bar just stared at us when we tried to get her attention she ignored us.. Would attempt to go this place again?? No the service sucks

In town on military leave, took a break from Disney to visit where my Great Aunt lives and let my daughter see the ocean/beach. This was the first place we saw to eat from the beach. From the outside, it looks more bar than restaurant, but the atmosphere inside was family friendly. The wait staff definitely seemed inexperienced, with the exception of a young bearded guy. He was the only one who seemed to know what was going on. The female wait staff were either chatting with the hostess or gossiping at the kitchen entrance. The guy was taking care of someone else and came back to refill our drinks while our waitress was busy talking about the night before. The food was excellent. We had the fried clams which were some of the best I've ever had and the proportions were large. Burgers, fish-n-chips, everything very good and a good value. I had asked the hostess if they had Smithwick's (beer). She said "yes" and brought me a spoon -- it was a bit noisy, I guess, lol. Get some better staff and the place will be great.

We've seen this restaurant a few times while in Seal Beach and finally decided to try it this weekend. Glad we did because it was GREAT! Clean, nice views, and good food. I recommend the Greg Norman burger, it was cooked perfectly, nice and juicy and totally worth the price over regular beef. Also, try the bloody Mary... Seriously!

Never. Ever. Go. Here. Ever. Ever.

(5)jennifer k.

(4)Garrett E.
Best restaurant ever! I love this place!!! I love "hanging out" down in Seal Beach to enjoy a nice drink and amazing food!
(5)Ryanne E.
(5)Jay M.
Food is standard american breakfast. Every time I visit Seal Beach we always stop in for a bite and walk around the stores on the street.

(2)Jenn T.
Got the fish and chips again as they were great first time. Not so much second time. Soo much batter, batter to fish ratio was off. Plus batter had a strange sweet taste. Like a waffle. Odd. Disappointed in fish n chips second time around.
(3)Cat r.
(4)Will N.
(4)Cheryl B.

(5)Oana N.
Jacqie is the best bartender EVER!!!!! From bloody Mary's to margaritas she rocks! Best experience ever!!!!!!
(5)Mrs. C B.
The food was decent. The coffee was so weak you could see thru the pot!!! The service was horribly slow. Not a place for breakfast if you're hungry. The berry 'jam' and the biscuits were good.
(2)Chelsy W.
Nice spot. Variety on the menu. Eh
(3)Susan D.
Tasty food, great drinks, right at the end of Main St. in Seal Beach. Love the grilled fish tacos! You can sit and look out the big windows at the ocean and pier, or sit at the bar and watch a game. Great spot to Hangout with friends.
(4)Valdez I.
Great view, fun atmosphere, good food and great service!! Can't ask for anything better!
(4)Lilia P.
(5)Adrie R.
(5)Ana L.
(5)Jay A.
(3)Bryan W.
Choose from three Bloody Mary recipes. Sit and breakfast, brunch, lunch, dine across from the Seal Beach pier. Watch NFL Sunday football at the bar. Stumble in hungover if you live nearby. All good. Decent beer selection.
(3)Elena L.
(5)Loretta V.
Can't beat $4 bloody Mary's on Sundays!!
(4)Robert T.
Love this place. Good food, service, location and family friendly.
(5)Holly B.
Good food bad service. The waitress Jessica complained about how busy she was. We had to ask for our drinks:(
(3)Shaleen P.
(3)Samantha G.
We stopped by while in town on vacation and it was everything you want a spot on the beach to be. The patio is amazing with great views and a fun vibe. The food was solid and a decent beer selection. I would 100% come back.
(4)Nick G.
(3)Liz H.
(4)Julie M.
But I don't think we will go back:(
(2)Denise M.
Really 4 stars? OMG if you like frozen foods and microwaves - this is the place for you. Keep walking the other way
(1)Tammy G.
(5)James M.
i usually go the "The Hangout Too" in Huntington Beach.
(4)Melissa M.
First visit last night with my boyfriend and it wasn't great. Had a really gross dessert, the most disgusting thing I have ever eaten. It was supposed to be a fried pb&j and it was beyond gross. Blegh. Would not recommend.

Fish fry Wednesdays are the bomb!
(5)Natalie B.
Love this place, my coworkers always order from here. I've tried the shrimp salad.. It was soo delish!
(5)Jolie T.
Food poisoning! We just moved to seal beach and ate the breakfast burrito on a Saturday morning. Worst food poisoning for the next 2 days. Horrible!
(2)Salma B.
(4)Lisa L.
A local fav for good reason...if you like calamari, try their Thai version, it's amazing! The daily specials are great, too! The service is always good and the view is nice.
(5)Gabi S.
I really liked the veggie bean burger they have!! The cocktails are always amazing too! Great environment! Love this place!

(2)Juli T.

I've been here twice and I can honestly say that I will keep coming back to try everything on the menu. So far I've tried their street tacos and the hangout burger and I can honestly say that both were mouth watering inducing entrées! My friend also tried the double bypass burger which was enormous, definitely going to have to try it myself, and he said it was amazing! The staff is genuinely nice and friendly. The bartenders are amazing! Good beer on tap and just a great atmosphere to be around. Nothing but good food and good vibes here. Have brought 5 friends who said they loved it and would come back. Definitely bringing more friends to the hangout to hangout and eat and drink! Highly recommend this place to everyone. Food prices are pretty reasonable, if anything the staff makes it worth the trip!
(5)Mark A.
(5)Tom S.

(1)April C.
(3)Renee G.
Great service wonderdul ocean view and people watching with the girls and my man such good food and great cocktails always busy but worth the wait nothing beats breakfast on Main St and a walk on the beach after. Ride the harley here parking is easier.. Best waitress and bartenders
(5)Megan G.
(5)Kevin M.
(2)Gabby H.
(5)Trixie B.
(4)Trent H.
Went Thursday night with a group of friends. This is the second time I've been here, and I had the bacon blue burger the waitress suggested.
(4)Rox G.
(5)Sil T.
The food was excellent and the pretty waitress was one of the best ever. I also liked the ambiance and the table and booth seats, they were well made. There were three of us and we all loved our food. I would like to come back and try some other items. I am glad we came here.
(5)Matthew S.
(4)Sarah D.
(3)Janice A.
Good food, good drinks and the servers are awesome!
(5)Jackie M.
Really good cheese burger great service Cody took care of us!! Fun atmosphere and good view of seal beach ;)
(5)Joleen Q.
(5)Allie F.
(4)Charlotte S.
I'm giving 5 stars for their Friday night prime rib in particular. The rest of the food is also fantastic! The only one I didn't love was the lobster bisque. The tacos, salads, chowder, etc. has been exceptional!
(5)Franceskoli B.
(4)Mike N.
So I came in and give this place a shot. Great view of the beach. So I got the fries chicken and waffle. The chicken. Was dry and under season. I wouldn't order it again. 2 stars only because of the view.
(2)Paul H.
(5)Doug B.
(5)Jason F.
Great atmosphere. Had the blackened Mahi and absolutely loved it. My girlfriend had the prime rib special. 5 stars for the food and friendly staff. We will be coming back to explore the rest of the menu.
(5)Roman V.
A good place, with good food, strong drinks, and good service. Will definitely come back. The grilled cheese sandwiches are excellent. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is that they can't do more than 3 separate checks per table. If this is not an issue for you, consider it a 5 star review.
(4)Fernando A.
(4)Teresa C.
I can't believe no one has commented on there New York steak!! It would not usually be the cut of beef I would normally order. The best New York Steak I've ever had! Yumm!:) AND you cannot beat the price!
(5)Sandi R.
(1)Carren Marie S.
(3)James R.

(4)Ryan L.
This place is simply Amazing!! Service A++ food A++ atmosphere A++. Our server Ally was awesome! She was friendly and fast with a great attitude. I had fish and chips they were tasty and my friend had the double bypass burger. If you are near Seal Beach definitely stop in you won't regret it.
(5)Cher Y.
(5)Miss K.
The view wasn't as great as I was hoping the reviews said it would be and the food was just ok. However the surrounding village was a nice walkabout. Close to the pier so that made the long wait not as bad. The service was pretty cool. Small community lacked diversity so that was interesting.
(3)Anca C.
(3)Lavinia C.
pro: great view and service, good. drinks Con : not the best food. Had breakfast here and the sunny side up eggs were gooey even after sending them back, hash browns not seasoned, the breakfast burrito tasteless and the flour tortilla rancid. A bit pricey. It has a great atmosphere though
(3)Joy R.
(5)Rolanda S.
(5)Bonnie S.
(4)Erika C.
(5)Mimi B.
No worries.
(2)Jackie W.
(4)Brandlelyn J.
Omg the fish and chips are amazing and also the lobster bisque this is now My most fave place all I can say is yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy
(5)Correen B.
(2)Brittney F.
(5)Ken T.
Great local spot great food, atmosphere, super drink specials, and the best staff, especially Bri !!! Always cheerful accommodating and the best bartender ever!!!!
(5)Fiona F.
I've been here 4 times now. I love the ambiance, the staff is always friendly and on point. There's a great view of the ocean :) The server went out of his way to describe the ounce proportions. He's super cool. They also have a variety of beer here. I love octoberfest!!!
(5)Milee S.
(4)marian m.
Ate lunch today with hubby.. View 5 stars service 5 stars food is only 3 stars... I had the shrimp Po'Boy hubby had Norman Grey burger with eggs and we shared the fried calamari
(4)Mara T.
The food here is very good. I throughly enjoy the smoked salmon omelette, it was filled with flavor! I have also had the grilled fish tacos. I wasn't a fan of the chips that they came with, but the actual fish tacos were great! I highly recommend this place if you are in Seal Beach!
(5)Anne C.
Fun place with well-rounded menu. The Monday Meatloaf and Martini special is a great deal.
(5)Jo Y.
Great atmosphere, great view, great service. We came here for lunch, great selection of bar food and grill type foods. I had a Cobb salad with chicken and shrimp and it was very fresh and tasty. I would surely go back!
(5)Greg S.
(5)Dayna B.
The food is great and the atmosphere is amazing, I would recommend this place to my friends .
(4)Lisa M.

(4)Steve C.
I've only been here once for breakfast so far but it was pretty good. Much better than Kinda Lahaina that it replaced. Service was pretty good but there was room for improvement. Menu was small but interesting and the view is great.
(3)Erin J.
The Hangout is really hit and miss. My family meets here for breakfast about once a month. The shrimp and grits are great and so are the pancakes. However, the biscuits are extremely dry and nearly indelible. Same goes for the eggs Benedict.
(3)Sarah L.
I'm a fan- the hush puppies alone are worth going in on a daily basis. The menu is great (deviled eggs!) and my bloody mary with jalapeño vodka was fantastic. The prices are reasonable, the staff is lovely, and you couldn't find a better location for people watching.
(4)Ashley G.

(4)Chris c.
Great location and wonderful atmosphere with good healthy food-try it-you will love it
(4)Crystal R.
(5)McKenzie R.
(5)Melanie G.

(3)Brad B.
Everyone who works there is very nice and attentive. The view of the water is awesome, the decor is simple and clean. Nothing too crazy when it comes to menu choices just good quality food.
(5)Mark W.
(5)Aliah C.
(5)Ramón Y.
Great food!! Great service. We sat right away because we were the first ones there when they opened. LOL. The food was fantastic. I had the breakfast burger with a side of Garlic Aioli was fantastic. Rick ordered steak and eggs and his steak was made to perfection. I must say I certainly would come back again.
(5)Deniz B.
Great food!
(5)Steve S.
(3)L. G.
Ok so here's the haps. This place has GREAT breakfast. The mimosas are 95 percent champagne and the service is stellar. The atmo is a bit "family restaurant", but I can see beyond that. Try the cheesy grits, then thank me.
(4)Haley C.
Excellent service and even better food. Couldn't be a more perfect location. I will definitely be returning when I take my next trip up to Seal Beach. The party of 9 was pleased with the entire meal, from food to drinks and everything in between. Would definitely recommend to everyone who likes great American food!
(5)Jane M.
I have yet to return since my last visit but the owner was courteous enough to take note of my experience and send me a message regarding it. I appreciate the professionalism and he reassured me that the incident was likely a rare or isolated occurrence. Maybe sometime in the near future I will try this spot again.
(3)Rob B.
(5)Jolene S.
(1)Brent F.
Nice place across from the beach. The food was very good. I had the Friday night prime rib. Nice think cut of meat. I liked the potatoes and vegetable medley. The fiance had the fried chicken and it was equally good. One of the better places to eat on Main St.
(3)Kelly B.
(4)Jeri S.
This is my first time here. Used to come to Seal Beach all the time in the early 80's. Fish tacos were good; think I would have liked fries instead of chips. Very disappointed there was no clam chowder; its only 2 pm. Enjoyed meal.
(4)Shelley M.
(3)AA R.
(3)Jayce T.
(5)Arceo I.
Food is amazing! Bloody Mary's 5 stars but the service was horrible.. The place only had 5 tables the waitress only came by once. Only reason I wouldn't go back would be due to the service other than that the food was great!
(1)Ross I.
The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The menu is balanced and well sorted but the best part of The Hangout is the service! Cody is a STAR and Melinda is spot on! Try the daily special with a beer or Bloody Mary. Save room for dessert ... the chocolate bread pudding is better than the 30 minute soufflé at The Ritz-Carlton. I LOVE to hangout at "The Hangout!!!!"
(5)Chris S.
(4)sue j.
(4)Shira L.
(4)Patrick I.
Parking is a little difficult but so it is for everything else on Main St. .
(3)Andy m.
(4)Corey V.
(5)Meridith H.
(4)Aaron L.
(4)Blake P.
Love this place, came in today for the first time and everything exceeded my expectations. The waitress was really nice and helpful in making my decisions. This place is at a perfect location right next to the pier. Will be back soon
(5)Jerry E.
(1)Debbie N.
Love Hangout both locations. Food is great service is great people are great. Kuddos to all of them in both locations for a great job. Owners are awesome people. They make sure you are taken care if and with respect. Love the view in Seal Beach. Love the new patio in Huntington Beach.
(5)Ruby C.
Great Place Right on the Strip Of Seal Beach Scott Stasoiski the best waiter Hands down Love this Place Great Food Great Atmosphere Right Near the Pier you cant ask for more on a great sunday afternoon or anytime I Highly recommend this place for sure. I remember this location years ago it was Kinda Lahaina and it was very cool Now the Hang Out is Hands Down Coolest of the Cool! Fun Vibe Great Food Wonderful Service Beautiful View Amazing You will be pleased Had A Great Time !! :)
(5)J N.
This place was delicious! The whole restaurant is really cute and welcoming. I ordered the shrimp and chips and the seafood was so fresh. My boyfriend got the fish and chips and said the same thing. We will definitely have to go back again!

(4)Leticia D.
(5)Jill M.
(4)Shari R.
Get the Tres Tacos with pulled pork! Trust me it's amazing! Fantastic customer service. It's Christmas Eve and the entire wait staff was so nice! The calamari was delicious...the fry the lemons with the calamari so you get the lemon flavor.
(5)Patti P.
(5)Joanne B.
Love it!
(5)Mell W.
(5)Ivan R.
Came in to have the deviled eggs and fried camalari. It was good . Price wasn't bad and customer service was great !
(5)Scott M.
The food is always fresh and full of flavor. Special request and modifications to menu items are welcome. The service is fantastic and during breakfast you will never see the bottom of your coffee mug. Lunch items are equally tasty. We visit here several times a month.
(5)Sarah M.
(4)Christy R.
(5)Andy C.
Service was horrible, and they wouldn't take my coupon for some reason. Also your obviously fake show in the food network was horrible ... You have to pay actors to get publicity?!?!
(1)Joe F.
(5)Donna S.
Mahalo.
(5)Kevin W.
Don't let this little surf shack on the beach with low prices fool you, they're serving up some of the most perfect burgers I've seen. They have wonderful salads and seafood appetizers, but if you come before lunch, get their awesome brunch. Oh, just stay away from the dessert - save room for Cold Stone across the street. ;)
(4)Erica S.
People are friendly, service was good, the hangout rancheros were pretty good, the view and location was AMAZING, the $5 and $8 bloody Mary's were on the weak side but tasty, we will definitely be back!
(4)Jill T.
(4)Aminahh M.
(2)Melissa J.
we had never been to the area and relied on yelp to help us out for lunch. it was down to Walt's wharf or The Hangout. the silly deciding factor, since it was just me and the hubby, was that The Hangout had Magner's cider in the bottle. we were overall okay with the decision.
(3)Arthur L.
Close to beach. Casual atmosphere. Food and drinks very good and not your everyday bar food, its closer to a beachcomber gastropub.
(5)R H.
Great service and great food!! It was early in the evening! $5 martini specials on Monday!! They were very good and the burgers were delicious!!! We will definitely be back!! Fast friendly service!! And a great view of the ocean!!
(5)Kim K.
(5)Jeffrey B.

(4)Connie S.
My friends and I arrived there at 12:30. And we waited for 10 miutes. The waitress was nice. I ordered smoked ham egg benedict. The egg was awesome! And you can change theenglish muffin to vegatable. Quite a good place and the view outside is good.
(4)Tim B.
(3)Jibaty I.
Great food here but the service has seemed to get worse. Would of been 5 stars but it took 45 to 50 min to get a salad and fish sandwich. Susie was our server..
(3)Brandon T.
Great service and wonderful food! Our waiter was Scott and he was soo nice and friendly! The location is perfect right next the the pier. We are definitely coming back for sure.
(5)Pete W.
Good old-fashioned American food in a great location. Service is good and the bathrooms are clean. A-1! I'm just glad this place is nothing like Thai on Main, which sucks.
(5)BOOYAA P.
Had the Southern Omelet and was less than impressed. With that said the Bacon Bloody Mary was ok the staff are nice and the location is great, Will I come back? Sure but next time for the beer selection that looks good.
(2)Maurer T.
(5)BSquared W.
(2)Joanne B.
(4)Lindsey S.
Came here for the first time today with my boyfriend and it was wonderful! The food and drinks were great and the Location is beautiful! We got to look at The ocean while we had our meal. Our waitress for great and very attentive. I wish had remembered her name. We will definitely be back for sure!
(5)Ciseal A.
Fish and chip are bomb! Great ocean view location.
(5)Czarina C.
(3)Dustin M.
Seal beach place on the corner.. The only thing I had was the burger and it was damn good.
(5)Sue M.
(5)Simona V.
Average food, average drinks. Nothing really special about this place. I got the chicken club that looked huge with a small chicken breast that was big enough for half the sandwich.
(2)patty u.
(4)Matt M.
(3)Shannon A.
Great Food and Great Service from my waitress Alexis! Will definitely make this a habit when I'm down here!
(5)Marcelo M.
Fish & Chips! This place has a lot of great food but I love the fish and chips. They're half price on Wednesdays. I like to have a lot business lunches here with clients. You can't beat the view either!
(5)Paul S.
(5)J S.
Great fries. Good service. Loud. Ok food. Good view.
(3)David L.
(4)Dana R.
(4)S D.
(4)Pryscilla T.
Their clam bucket was delicious. I love the stew it was in and everything in that dish was fantastic. I would definitely recommend that dish to seafood lovers. The chicken club sandwich was okay.
(4)Hiromi I.
(5)Frank P.
(5)Vem Z.
Love this place! Food and service is excellent. It's a little noisy but that's the whole vibe of this place. I ordered shrimp pot and it was so good. My bf had $10 ribs for southern supper night every Sunday was also good. Would totally recommend this place!
(4)TinaMarie M.
Service was fantastic and so were the $5 Martinis for Martini Monday! I had an awesome grilled cheese with macaroni and cheese and bacon. It was to die for!
(5)Donna T.
(4)D P.
PROB ONE OF MY FAVE PLACES TO EAT OUT HERE. Shared a beef brisket sandwich will my mom. SOO DELICIOUS" Bro and dad had the bacon grilled cheese I got a cup of clam chowder. EXTRAORDINARY! Def cannot wait to come back!
(5)Julie C.
Great food, reasonable prices, and if you sit by the window the view is priceless. We split the classic burger, and they even precut and placed it on two different plates, very good customer service. Bloody Mary's were ver good.
(4)Rob M.
lobster bisque was yummmm- ribs were kickin---Best Dessert in the OC-- Manager was very cool and hooked us up with a secret special dish
(5)Olga G.
(5)love n.
I love this place. Right across the street from the beach and easy to get to, this adorable beach bar and grill is awesome! The haven't eaten a single bad thing here. The people that work here are friendly and the food is so good! It's one of my favorite beach spots.
(5)Diane C.
(4)John B.
Awesome location. Sits right at the entrance to the pier, and looks out into the ocean. The staff and service were great. Very friendly. Different servers waited and checked on us regularly. The food was very good and surprisingly inexpensive for the location. Definitely would go back.
(5)Xander B.
(5)Yolanda S.
Must try the Calamari with the habanero on the side. The hamburgers are also very good.
(5)Patrick M.
Maybe!!!!
(3)Debra D.
If the awesome ocean view or amazingly friendly staff aren't enough reason to come down, show up for the fabulous food!
(5)Mic H.
Came back a couple times and both visits were better. Service seems to always be great and the shrimp and grits as well as the fish sandwich were pretty good.
(4)Deborah P.
(5)Jerome S.

(3)Rob S.
(4)Enea O.
(5)Mac R.
(5)Dann Laura G.
(5)Maria T.

(5)Eric J.
I went here for breakfast last weekend. I am not a breakfast eater so I ordered a typical club sandwich. The food was alright. Nothing too special. My friend ordered herself some French Toast and that was much better than my sandwich. Service was good. But not something I have to run back to go again.
(3)Marty S.
(5)Kim H.
(2)Marilyn M.
(5)Smarty Pant S.
(4)Oscar R.
First time here. Service is awesome.com Had the shrimp Po Boy Sandwich, no need to go to New Orleans try it here!!! Best sandwich I've ever had!!!!!! Great music fun atmosphere. The bartenders are hot!
(5)Eric V.
First time there for dinner. We had the brisket beef dip, which was awesome. Definitely planning another trip to try the other dishes.
(4)Jeremy F.
(5)Jennifer F.
(5)ryan c.
Really good location with a good view of Seal Beach Pier. They have a lot of great beers on tap, usually a rotating micro brew selection. I get the shrimp tacos a lot and sometimes the corn fritters.
(5)Randyl B.

Love their Bloody Mary. Their fried fish taco was awesome and so was their fried pb&j.

While this isn't what it was before....I enjoyed the food. Menu was limited though. Needs more variety. Good food though. Bring back the Bowl!

Best best surf n turf bloody mary.. Texas breakfast sandwich awesome!

This was our 2nd visit here. Cant complain about bloody mary special all day Sunday! Food is always good and fresh and service was excellent.

Comfortable, homey, friendly. Great breakfasts, friendly, attentive servers.

They have coupons from the local Vons on all of the receipts.

great breakfast right on the beach, perfect atmosphere on a saturday morning! wait was not long, and waiter/waitress was taking our order within 5 mins of sitting down. Will be back!

Great food, lovely views, and friendly servers. A nice place to exhale. One area of improvement? Weak happy hour.

Only average food.

pretty awesome. Fish and chips were great and the tempura zucchini is amazing!!!
(4)Kristlyn B.
(5)Abraham M.
Great service! I ordered the Maui Omelet. It has cheddar cheese, onion, tomato, sausage, and pineapple. Delicious! Highly recommend it. moz005...over & out.

(5)Marla G.
Food (hamburger) was nothing special. Service was not very good. We didn't get noticed after sitting down for almost 10 mins. on a weekday lunch. I won't be back.
(2)Rick And David M.
(5)Eileen R.

(4)Marilyn H.

Ehhhh......

I'm pleased to say the hangout has great service and good food. I deleted my old comment after the first opened about the poor service because they have really changed things around for the better. Thanks guys. Everyone has been super friendly and very efficient!
(4)Wes S.

Seriously!
